Easy to use, easy to wash and reuse. Easy to cut to the size you need. Unlike the typical 2” tape rolls these have some substance and the sides don’t roll up when you try to wash it. Other brands of scar tape should be advertised as one and done. These can be washed with hand soap, allowed to air dry and then re-applied to your scar. I’ve used the same set for over two weeks and they still stick perfectly. Much better than other brands of scar tape’s. After two weeks my scars appear less red with no raised areas. I will continue to use this product on my tummy and breast for three months as that should give the best results. If fit came in bigger sheets I would happily purchase them.

I have used New gel + products for several years without any problems, however this tape arrived very gummy, had problems sticking and rolled up. I always clean the affected area with alcohol to insure my skin is clean and dry before I use the tape. But this tape appears very gummy and the gel swishes out and balls up and the patch rolls up and becomes useless. It may have been exposed to heat or chemicals. The tape can’t be returned, refunded or replaced. This is a wonderful product and I wanted the tape replaced.

I have been using this product for 2 years which I have been ordering from the NewGelPlus company so I know how to use it. I brought this item from Amazon because it was 2 day shipping and I am very sorry I did. It does not stick properly and loosens in a few hours. Will NOT stay in place for for even 2 hours. The sheet I buy directly from the company will not loosen and will remain in place until I remove it. I wear this product continuously removing only to clean skin and then reapply. It even holds tight when I perspire. It does work by diminishing size and softening scar, decreases pain,and itching. I will call Amazon customer service on Monday to see if this complaint can be resolved. Will post an update.

Thicker than most on Amazon. Plus you can cut to custom fit for irregular scars. I sleep with this then use the gel during day. Two weeks past suture removal and you can barely see the surgical scar. Once the swelling goes down the scars will be almost invisible. All surgeons should recommend this to patients.

This product is worth every penny. I had been using another brand (much cheaper) on a large surgical scar on my cheek. It did not seem to be working...after wearing it for 2 months my scar did not improve at all. It looked good right after I would remove the patch fo wash my face, but became raised and angry looking within a few minutes. This patch is providing results within a week or two that the old product could not achieve after months. I just wish I'd bought NewCare in the first place instead of being "thrifty". This is one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. In both cases I got what I paid for!

For the price, I thought this would be the same as what I got from my physical therapist for a surgical scar. It isn’t. It is super gooey. This makes it really difficult to reuse and also easily curls up on the sides.

This product is very good as long as you understand its limitations. Apparently it won't stick if you sweat a lot... or if the adhesive gets wet; this info is also according to the person I spoke to over the phone from the manufacturers website. Otherwise, if your skin is relatively dry it will stay on until you remove it. what I really like about the product is that it's very gentle on the skin (compared to other silicone sheets), easy to remove and clean and reapply. Handle the product with care and keep them clean and they will last a long time. i've been using for several weeks and I can see a noticeable difference. For areas where you sweat (that are not so sensitive) a lot I recommend Embrace Minimize silicone sheets. I use the newgel sheets in combination with embrace minimize. My 2 cents.

My plastic surgeon recommended this product to use after my mastoplexy (breast reduction with lift) incisions healed. I had two portions of scars that was raised and that is the area she suggested using New Gel. I cut it into strips and applied to the scars. Adhesive worked well and continued sticking after multiple uses. I saw results within a few uses - less raised, reduction in appearance. I will continue using this product!
