I knew I was purchasing quality sheets, but what I really wanted is comfort, warmth and luxury that will last a long, long time! Since I was diagnosed with cancer, I run hot, so I have the A/C, and two oscillating fans blowing on the bed, 365 days a year. My ex-husband is one of my caregivers. He couldn't handle the freezing cold, that my home apparently is! It keeps him awake. He purchased a electric blanket, a heating pad, a electric heating fitted sheet... He used each item for about a week. They were uncomfortable. So, I promised him I will do the purchasing, and that it would be the ultimate comfortable warmth he will love. He asked what overly heated product was I getting? I told him that I was only purchasing warmth, that's it! He laughed! When the Malouf flannel sheets arrived on 10/31/18, I handed him the package, and said his warmth was inside. He laughed again, but that was ok"! But, right out of the box and it's storage pouch, he couldn't deny the high quality, and luxury we were touching and looking at; there were no chemical smells. He washed them, BUT not before we cuddled to them first. They felt and smelled incredibly soft, (again, no chemical smells.) We sat there like kids, cuddling and using the pillow cases as winter hats. They really felt that good. This isn't my first rodeo with cotton, but I haven't felt old time cotton flannel sheets like the way they used to be when I was growing up (when cotton was amazing and affordable)! He finally washed and dried the sheets, and there was ABSOLUTELY NO PILLING! They felt and smelled softer, the way a cloud might feel. The fitted sheet looks like it was custom made for my tempur-pedic, it fits like a glove! Making the bed was fun; we were handling quality. Well, the first night my ex- was extremely warm, too warm. He couldn't handle the warmth. I explained he didn't need my comforter and my quilts, and throw blankets, when using Malouf flannel sheets. He reluctantly got rid of all the extras on the bed, and stuck with the flat sheet and a quilt to keep him warm (a store bought quilt, no warmth). He slept all night, and every night after. He loves washing and drying them way too much. I asked him if they were uncomfortable?? He said "NO"! He loves them, they keep him warm, and he sleeps a restful sleep. He thanked me for his warmth! I bought the pacific color, it's true to color, at least from my screen. It's a beautiful warm deep medium blue. I'm ordering the oatmeal and coffee colors. Oh, and these sheets are reasonable priced. These sheets are amazing! They will last forever! I'm not kidding, I really think these sheets will last forever! I have cotton sheets I grew up with and they are still functional.

These are the best flannel sheets I have owned. They are soft, warm and have not pilled. I followed the care instructions and the sheets remain soft and cozy. I wish I could afford more sets but I can see why they are pricey...they are worth it!

These sheets are heavy and soft. They are very nice sheets but definitely not worth the $173 price tag. The color on the coffee is way off too.

My wife and I purchased a king-size adjustable bed Jan. 2018. We purchased the Malouf split king coffee color sheets. We have used them everyday for two years and a month. They have been the very best flannel sheets we have ever owned. They still look and feel brand new. We have read some of the negative reviews and we cannot believe what they have said. They fit perfectly. Oh yes, our mattress is really thick. No piling, no complaints. We just purchased our second set in blue today. They put LL Bean sheets under the table. Two years of steady use, small doggie in bed, and still look brand new. We do however wash in cold water super delicate, and that really preserves them. Best sheets we have ever owned. I truly cannot believe those negative reviews.

We have a 14 inch mattress and have been looking for a good flannel sheet set that will fit the mattress correctly, meaning they will tuck under both sides of the mattress. A review on Google noted that Malouf flannel sheets are one of the best for a deep mattress so I thought I would give them a shot. They are soft and I’ve had no problem with pilling but they did not fit my 14 inch mattress as you cannot tuck either side in. Also their top sheet is very short horizontally, vertically is fine. Of note I washed them as directed gentle and dried them on low cycle. I feel they are overpriced for the money ($169 for a queen size set; on their website the are 231.99 for a queen set) given they cannot be tucked in correctly and the top sheet is short. Their website states they will fit up to an18 inch mattress. Update-I did write to the company to explain that they do not fit a 14 inch mattress and their description was incorrect. Pictures sent. They responded. thanked me for the information, did agree and thanked me for pointing this out. They said they were going to forward it to their contact group . Since it’s been a while and I never got the original review out, before I sent this, I went to the Malouf site to check on the Portuguese flannel description and it remains the same, that they will fit up to an 18 inch mattress. Since obviously they don’t mind that their advertisement at least about these sheets are misleading, I would not recommend these sheets and further would not recommend this company

I have used flannel sheets for decades and most of them have been heavy and thick. These however are a lot thinner and smoother. But, they keep you just as warm as the others. They wash well and have the deep pockets necessary to keep them in place. If you like flannel sheets like I do, try these.

These flannel sheets do NOT pill. Honestly, I absolutely love them. I have all the warmth and comfort of soft flannel, with none of that "sandpapery" feel I've had from other flannel sheets. I use no fabric softener in the wash, just a little bit of vinegar for the rinse cycle, and no dryer sheets. These sheets were a bit pricey, but worth it!

I should have paid attention to the "Woven" label... you can see the weave in these sheets and they are not soft and snuggly like the old Amazon Pinzon sheets that I was hoping for. For the price they're absolutely awful.

I have never felt such soft, smooth luxury in bed sheets before. Will definitely buy more in future. Very impressed with the quality.

Sheets washed very well and came out of the dryer (low heat) feeling very soft. Still hot summer so have not fitted the sheets yet. Seem to be high quality.

This is a quality product. It is a heavy flannel which is quite warm and comfortable. Ideal for these winter cold months!
