Used this wire for a recent 3D printer build. I was hoping upgrading to silicone insulation would provide years of reliable service despite continuous bending from 3D print head movement. Unfortunately, this has not been the case as I have already had to repair/replace two sets of wiring cost me several hours. In most cases the internal conduct breaks from continuous movement while the outer insulation is still intact. I think the ultra-soft silicone just doesn’t give it any support and allows the metal to fatigue too easily. I’m going to switch to FEP cables when I eventually decide to rewire the printer. Save yourself the trouble if you’re building a 3D printer and to with a more robust wire.

I bought this to use for speakers and found that the insulation is too soft resulting in it peeling off of the wire when trying to separate the positive and negative leads for termination.
