Can't use.
Amazon AI said it would. I going to send it back. I set amazon and Anker solix 1-3 days before it would ship. I have the email proof. I am sending it back. And i talk to both banks.

Delivery sucks
The product is well worth it, however the chosen delivery method sucked. I had to hunt down the the company after two weeks of the delivery promised date. Even then after taken off for a new delivery date, they were late again! Change delivery service!

Anker E10 Rocks!
Have always loved Anker, but their new e10 system just knocked it out of the ballpark. I am telling everybody I know about it

Yes! Solix Anker Smart Generator can Directly Charge "Older" Solix F3800
I bought my 5500 directly from Anker, but only to get the promotion price. Overall, I really like the 5500. I currently have a Yamaha 1000, Honda 2000, Honda 2200i, and now the Anker 5500 for comparison. My first run was just off of Propane. I wanted to ensure the generator would start up & I could connect the app so I could update the firmware. I have no intentions of ever using gasoline in my 5500. With regards to using Natural Gas, I had to jump through some small hoops before I could get everything connected. The Honda 2200I was already set up to run off Natural Gas >>> BUT <<< the hose was for a 1/2 inch smaller diameter inlet. The Anker manual calls for a 3/4 inner dimension hose. Lots of people on the forums said to just get the 1/2 but I choose to stick with Anker's spec's. Since I didn't want to sacrifice the 1/2 inlet for the 2200I I purchased a "T" fitting that has both 1/2 & 3/4. I ordered the 3/4 NG hose package from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGKN66NR?). So now the natural gas "T" fitting connects to the 5500 using the 3/4 NG hose/fittings. The A/C outlet on the 5500 connects to an external outdoor NEMA 5โ15R A/C outlet on the back of my house using an outdoor 10-gauge extension cord. That outlet connects to another outlet in my basement. In the basement I have a single to dual NEMA 5โ15R outlet that I can use to connect both of my Solix F3800's to. The plan is that I will use this approach if there is an extended power outage and I'm unable to top off my batteries using solar. In fact, I will probably only charge one F3800 at a time, so I can use the other to power essential items in my home.
