Solid, sturdy, gardening and bushcrafting tool
Full disclosure, I am a knife person who appreciates a good bladed tool. So I came across this tool in my search and watched numerous reviews on YouTube and read customer reviews, so I went for it. My wife and me also grow Roses and do basic gardening at home. I also volunteer as a trail maintainer for the local Trail conference keeping local hiking trials to clear overgrowth, invasive plants, etc. Been using this amazing tool in our garden for the past several days and am impressed with the multitude of uses and it's very strong construction. Came pretty sharp out of the box and I chipped the knife blade (2 small chips) digging a trough around my dogwood tree to feed it. I was able to quickly sharpen the chips out of the blade because stainless steel is easy to sharpen. The serrated blade makes short work out of thin branches, flower stems, shrubs. I say it's also a good ancillary bushcraft tool as it will perform almost everything a good bushcraft knife will do in the outdoors. But always carry a sturdy bushcraft knife as the Hori Hori is after all just a gardening tool. But an amazing gardening tool, especially for the price. I can not wait to try this out on the trail next week

Solid, thick steel, full-tang handle. Perfect.
I spent literally hours looking at reviews trying to find the best Hori-Hori knife for the best price here on Amazon. Eventually I settled on this one. Obviously I can't compare it to all the others because I only bought one, but I can say that I am super happy with it. It is way heavier than I anticipated (a good thing). The steel is way thicker than I imagined. Between the thickness of the steel and the full tang handle, I feel like this thing is going to be indestructible. The sheath is really nice and feels like it should hold up for quite some time.I found the measurements to be really handy for plant spacing when seeding. I no longer have to eyeball what 10"-12" apart is or try to measure with my hands, I can just use the tool itself to measure distances and spacing. Seeds need to be planted 1" apart? No problem. Just lay the tool down on the soil and use the measurement markings to get it exactly right. If you are spending hours looking at all the $20-$30 Hori-Hori knives on Amazon, then I hope it is some assurance that I did the same and I have zero buyers remorse and am completely satisfied with the price and quality of this one.

Can't be beat for $10
This knife/shovel Can't be beat for $10. Why spend more your just going to stick it in the ground. Like another reviewer stated. I looked at all the $20-30 Hori hori knives then bought this one for $10. Zero buyers remorse. Super nice, perhaps not the finest fit and finished but defiantly will last a long time. Why spend more?Update: I have used this all summer and still think it is worth more than the $11 I paid but is it worth the $32 it is listed at today (9/18/2019) maybe not, but $22-25 perhaps. Having said this I believe that a lot of these others listed are the same knife with a different box/label. As a tool I am sure any of them would work fine for most people. You stick it in the ground so the fit and finish requirements are on the low side. Go cheap you can always send it back. It has proven itself durable.

Seems like it will be a good garden tool. Potential issues though.
I haven't used it yet as the weather outside is still weird but the product feels pretty heavy and solid. The only problem I have with it so far is the handle. I uploaded some pictures of the issue. As you can see there's a bit of separation between the full tang blade and parts of the wood handle. I'm afraid the thing might come apart because of this eventually. That plus dirt and grime will work its way into those gaps. Got it on sale, but.... Should I be worried? Will update this review when and if something happens.

Super sturdy
My husband was very impressed with this knife when it arrived! Hands off, buddy! That baby is mine! I've been using a cheap, plastic-handled steak knife for way too long and then I discovered this one. I read a lot of reviews and this one sounded the best with its full tang and good handle length. The handle works very well for me and I was surprised that I didn't develop any blisters even after an hour and a half of fairly steady use. Love this knife!

Efficient, Versatile, built with quality.
I liked that it feels sturdy, the wood appears to be good quality. It is very handy when digging weeds out of the grass, and No more questioning when trying to decide, "hmm am I deep enough?" My only complaint is that the metal on the handle sticks out a little from the wood, which is ok when wearing gloves, but when I just feel like getting my hands dirty it can be a little rough while digging up the weeds. Thank you for a quality product, It has become a daily tool.

Dirty grimy knife.
This knife arrived in an opened box. The blade was dirty, grimy and showed signs of use and the tang had begun to separate from the handle. I returned it immediately. Lifewell should be ashamed to have shipped this knife as new and unused.
