Hush Puppies Desert II, Men's Desert Boots

I bought these for casual wear and they came in excellent condition - and they are excellent in every respect. They fit true and are a bit less clumpy than the previous style. I thought the colour was pretty classic Hush Puppy suede although others thought it was too brown. There is a small and inconspicuous bit of branding at the top of the boot (you can see it in the picture) but that would probably be covered by the bottom of any trousers or jeans. The only thing is that they will need a weatherproofing spray being worn outside in autumn.

I bought a navy blue pair of these a couple of months back and thought they were a bit small (Size 7 UK) and was going to send them back to get the next size up. I'm glad I didn't. I tried them on again and they fitted fine. I have broad feet and usually get a size 8 - or in hiking boots even a 9. My measured size is a 7.5 broad (UK). I bought a pair of "Taupe" coloured Desert II s on Sunday from Amazon (again in size 7) and they were waiting for me when I got home from work on Monday - amazingly speedy delivery! I wore the taupe ones into work today with jeans and they look fab. Desert boots always look better with a bit of age and wear - so looking forward to when they've got that "worn in" look. These boots don't need "breaking in" they feel comfortable and as if you've been wearing them for ages from day one. Tip - go for your size and not the next size up. They're Hush Puppies and feel great on your feet. See if you can get them on a deal on Amazon - I paid £63 when HPs were selling for £79- £85 on their own site.

Have worn Hush Puppies many times in the past and have always found them comfortable - no breaking in. The quality is always excellent and they look decent too. Delivery as expected and I was wearing them within 4 days. No complaints. Gra

Nice boot, looks very well made as you would expect from Hush Puppy. Unfortunately I had to return mine for two reasons. 1) Way to generous on size, I am a size 10 and a 9 would have been a better fit. 2) Colour is a lot lighter than shown in picture.

These are longer and thinner that I expected from the reviews. If you have a wider foot like myself, look elsewhere.

Exactly what I expected from Hush Puppies. Look stylish, and they are as comfortable as a pair of slippers. Would recommend these to anyone.

I used to wear Hush Puppies many years ago , and they were lovely shoes. These were very disappointing, they looked so good on the page, they were too large for a 9 1/2, and I looked like Charlie Chaplain in them, the heel was not high enough, so my foot was turned upwards with the shape of them. So they were returned.

chausse un peu grand pour du 41 la couleur "taupe" est plus claire que celle que l'on voit sur la photo c'est une marque qui est très ancienne avant on disait " les hush puppies " pour désigner les déserts boots un peu comme Frigidaire pour un réfrigérateur je dis personnellement encore "hush puppies" pour désignier le terme générique de " désert boot"

Not the Shoe pictured online. The shoes were lighter in color (beige) not the brown as pictured. I also has a round toe. The box toe was what I was expecting. It ran slightly larger in size as well. The shoes however, were very good quality which can be expected from Hush Puppies. The quality brings the five stars.

Très bonne qualité. Taille comme il faut, prendre sa taille habituelle. Moins cher et aussi bien que des Clarks originals.
