A PC fan with NO WEAKNESSES and SO MANY POSITIVES
Notuca has done it again, producing a great product and this time at an even better price. This fan is very good in several categories with no real downsides. These are premium high end fans, so it vastly outclasses stock case fans. Material quality is great, just by touching it and holding it, the whole thing feels much more premium. Right out of the box it feels good. Noise level is great, but do be sure to set the fan curves in your BIOS, otherwise they will be running with a bit of noise on full RPM, which is overkill. They move so much air as it is, there is little reason to run them so hard and it creates an unneeded noise level. So do set a fan curve, for sure. Highly versatile! It’s got great static pressure AND great airflow so you can comfortably use them on radiators or as case fans. Not all fans can say the same in terms of versatility. They do look alright to the eye, not some fancy RGB, but they are about functionality. Noctua has never been known for being flashy, but I highly recommend their anti-vibration pads for a nice accent as well as mitigating the vibrations for even less noise. Above all, the price point is what knocks it out of the park for me. There simply is no better fan for this price. I’m not saying it can’t be outperformed, but anything that would do so would easily cost more than twice as much. Performs like a $20-$30 fan, yet cost nearly half that. Unless you are able to or willing to, shell out anything for PC performance I don’t see why you wouldn’t use these. For most enthusiast, this is certainly sufficient and effective. Unless you are some mega enthusiast with a 3 grand rig in the tower, this is great. Great for enthusiast looking for premium cooling without breaking the bank.

My Goto Fan
Half the price of the As, better pressure and airflow with only a couple dB(A) more but in truth, I can barely hear these when they are at max RPM, just a low whoosh of air, nothing annoying. Works in our home theater just splendidly. I replaced the fans on the ThermalRight Assassin with these because they have more airflow and pressure and a high rated MTBF whereas the stock 120s on the Assassin were not rated at all. So five total, one on lower front, one on very bottom, one on rear of the case and two on the CPU cooler. The case fans have screen dust filters. Cinebench results right up there with their top slot, difference accountable by running background processes. i7-13700K running @5400 when needed, Asus Z790-Plus, G.SKILL (2x32) CL28-34-34-89, one 2T 990pro m.2 and two 1T SATA SSDs , MSI Ventus RTX 4060 8GB, pretty darn good for all these heat producers and simple air cooling. Case is a heavily modified and ancient Antec P160. Three of these fans mounted on the case pull cool air in and exhaust out the top which was cutout ~5x10 with a nibbler and covered with 6x6 galvanized HW cloth (heat rises). All fans controlled by Asus AI cooling 2. What I find interesting is that I hardly ever hear these fans. They spend the vast majority of time between 700 and a 1000rpm even when playing BG3 and are inaudible to me. A testament that they move sufficient air to keep everything cool at quiet low rpms. Love these fans.

Noctua NF-P12 redux vs Corsair ML120
Summary: Both of these are great fans that I highly recommend. The Noctua NF-P12 redux is cheaper and quieter then the Corsair ML120, so it is best for most situations. The Corsair ML120 is great when you need a fan that can run both quiet or loud and powerful. It can run 700 rpm faster than the Noctua so it is a good value for a such a powerful fan, but it is slightly louder at the same rpm and a couple of dollars more expensive then the Noctua. Noise: The both fans are silent up to 1300 rpm. The Corsair ML120 is slightly louder than the Noctua NF-P12 redux at speeds above 1300 rpm. I was really surprised that the Noctua NF-P12 redux beat the Corsair ML120 on noise, as the ML120 uses a magnetic levitation barring, but I guess that Noctua’s fluid barring is just that good. AirFlow: The Corsair ML120 can run up to 2400 rpm while the Noctua NF-P12 redux can only reach 1700rpm, so the ML120 is capable of more air flow and higher pressure then the NF-P12 redux, although Corsair ML120 is quite loud at max speed. Static pressure from spec sheets: Corsair ML120 up to 4.2 mm-H2O, Noctua NF-P12 redux up to 2,83 mm-H2O. RPM range: ML120 = 400-2400, NF-P12 redux = 450-1700. The main advantage that the Corsair ML120 has over the Noctua is that it can run 700 rpm faster. This is great for a situation where you might need some extra cooling power at the top of a pmw fan curve. Warranty: ML120 = 5 years, NF-P12 redux = 6 years. Both of these fans have top quality bearings, so they should both last for many years unless you get a defective one. Accessories: As these are both basic models they do not come with anti-vibration pads or any other accessories other then mounting screws. Price: At the time of this review a 2 pack of ML120 was 31.41, so a ML120 was $15.71 while a NF-P12 redux was $13.90, so the Noctua is a couple of dollars cheaper, but the ML120 is still a great value for a good quality 2400 rpm fan. Note on product models: The performance of the ML120 is the same as the ML120 PRO, the PRO model is just a more premium variant that has anti vibration pads, looks better.

Best Bang for your Buck Fan Out There
I recently replaced all of my old PC case fans with 4 of these Noctuas and I honestly could not believe how quiet they were. I was hesitant at first to try the redux versions of these fans because I thought I might be missing out on the full Noctua experience but I have to say these perform so much better than I expected. They provide so much airflow and keep my PC at or under 65C virtually all the time when gaming without making any real noticable noise at all. My PC even lives on my desk. The bang for your buck that you are able to get with the Noctua Redux is insane!

Works great
Very quiet, easy to mount. Cable is plenty long and easy to connect to the motherboard. Good airflow, even in the poorly designed case I have in the pictures

Great Radiator Fans But Scammy Business Model
These actually look almost attractive with the optional rubber corners installed. Even with the added cost of the corners, these fans represent a great price-performance point for that they are. I have four of these mounted to a 30mm thick 480 radiator. They move a huge amount of air through my radiator. At full speed, they are a little loud, but at 50% or 60% speed, they are literally whisper quiet and still move enough air through my radiator to sink 600+ watts while keeping my coolant barely above 30c. These are massive overkill for my application. On the other hand, who doesn't like massive overkill? It irks me a little that I have to buy $15 worth of little rubber bits on top of $60 for the fans. But, this annoyance is mostly offset by the fact the fans are not butt ugly like most of the other Noctua fans. I am good with the cost reduction and the absence of the usually included accessories (rubber screw mounts, low noise adapter, y cable, and extension cable). However, the fans look kind of bad without the corners These corners are more essential than the usual accessories. It just feels a little scammy. Noctua, if you want to take this good product and make it exceptional, my suggestion is include four black corners with each fan. If your customer wants a different color or wants eight of them instead of four, she can still buy the corners. I think the cost reduction is great and I do have a big pile of unneeded accessories from all of my previous Noctua purchases, but I don't have any spare corners. You took it a little too far. Add a few black corners to this product You could even increase the price by a couple of bucks; that would be fine by me. But don't leave me feeling scammed. If you keep doing this, it will ruin my brand loyalty.

I'd hate to say I've bought a lot of Noctua fans.
That wouldn't be a desirable thing to brag about. I first became aware of Noctua many years ago and I bought my first Noctua fan about the time I first became aware of them. It arrived at my door from Amazon all those years ago and went straight into the PC I had at the time. That PC is long gone but that fan has lived in every PC I have owned since then in one way or another (It was a 90mm fan and all 90mm fans are noisier than larger fans so it has never been my main fan in any system). My main concern with a fan is that it's versatile and will last a long time. Because (let's face it) a fan is not really something you want to be replacing every time you turn around. Noctua fans just do what they're supposed to do. They might not be the quietest or the prettiest or the top performers but they are just solid, reliable fans. If you buy one, it is a piece of equipment that you will probably be using for ten years or more with absolutely no problems. No bearings that wear out or get noisier and noisier over time. The first Noctua fan I ever bought still works like it did when it was brand new. OK, I suppose I have to confess that I do not like PC cases with windows on them. My PC case is just a black metal box. If you need the bling, Noctua still has you covered but people have often avoided them because they're "ugly". I couldn't care less. Anyway, these grey ones are attractive in an industrial sort of way that's appealing to me (even though I don't really see them). I bought this one because I needed another fan in my case and I refuse to buy anything but a Noctua fan since I now have 5 of them in my current PC (including this one) and I have never had a Noctua fan die on me or fail in any way to do what a fan should do. The fact that you get (more or less) the same awesome quality with this fan for a lower price (Albeit with no frills packaging and no adapters or rubber mounts) is just gravy. If you just need a fan that will last so long you'll forget what you paid for it, you can't go wrong here. At full speed, this fan is loud. So you will need to control the speed of it somehow. So the price may not be as appealing once you buy some kind of speed control (If you own a lot of Noctua fans already, this probably isn't an issue since the higher end ones usually come with several low noise adapters and you likely have some to spare. You probably would not want to run this thing at full speed in your PC because it does sound like a jet engine at that speed. At ~1100 RPM, it's not bad at all.

Moves lots of air, makes no noise
Miracle fans that have quite a good airflow yet make absolutely no noise. Replaced unbearably noisy fans in my instruments, what a difference.

Original high quality Noctua NF-P12 redux fan
The fan I received was original with full noctua packaging, and it worked as expected from Noctua quality, giving strong airflow. Only downside in my opinion is at the time I was buying price was very expensive.
