This is an awesome garden tool ! Very well made . Heavy duty and should last for years. I just used it to clean out my garden after we had a heavy frost and it made that job super easy.

I've wanted a hori-hori for a long time and finally decided to order one. The more well-known brands were all sold out, so I purchased this tool from Garden Guru since it has pretty good user reviews. I love it! It is sturdy (full tang) and both edges (one serrated, one not) are VERY sharp. Excellent for cutting through tough underground invasive weeds like periwinkle, English ivy, and Japanese honeysuckle. Also useful for digging and planting. A wonderful tool. Every gardener should have one, and at this price you don't need to break the bank. This one comes with a sheath, too, which is worth having for safe storage.

I put this knife to the test while digging up bamboo roots. Dug, cut, and pryied them. It passed with flying colors! The full length tang makes all the difference. My wife loves this knife and uses it daily in her garden.

It’s only March in Colorado, so haven’t actually been able to use this new tool. I bought one for my husband and one for me. He absolutely loves his! Can’t wait to get out in the garden and try it out! I’m excited too. It looks well made, sturdy and we can both think of many applications for it! Great fun!

This is a great garden tool. It is sturdy. It can be used for weeding, digging a hole, or cutting roots. I like the reddish coloring in the wood handle. It helps me find the tool when I have left it on the ground while working in my vegetable garden or flower beds. When I use tools I use either hand depending on the task. One side of the blade of this garden knife is serrated, thus I have found it works best in the right hand. When I forget and use it with the left hand I find I need to pay attention as the serrated edge will move into my glove. Usually I use vinyl gloves due to allergies so this could be a problem. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this garden knife.

Was hesitant to order as too many items on Amazon are not as described, i.e. they're cheap junk. This is not one of those. The blade is thick SS, the edges are sharp, and the handle is real wood securely riveted. Only complaint is the sheath is a bit thin, but that in no detracts from the tool. You get what you pay for. In this case it should be the last one I ever need to purchase. It looks like it will last that long!

Every gardener needs a Hori horn!!! It's the best for weeding. I was gifted one for a friend and unfortunately, I must have set it down or put it in the weed bucket by mistake. I bought myself another one because I just couldn't live without it. I have since put a brightly colored string on it to see it whenever I get side tracked and leave it lay or put it in the bucket.

Metal portion of tool is very good. Wood handle is cheap and broke easily. It has a full tang so it was repairable to use, but still disappointing
