Great, powerful lightweight laptop
This is an excellent purchase. Ha e been using the laptop for a few weeks now. Very lightweight but very powerful. Primarily bought for writing code and this laptop handles some very heavy docker usage. OLED display is crisp and clear but prone to a few sunlight issues from certain angles but as its a laptop I just reposition slightly. Connects to my 2 32inch 8k screens via the usb c connectors without issue and my keyboard connects via the old style usb connector so not even using a hub for it. Also simple to connect to TV's via the hdmi port too. Great all rounder, a little pricey but bought during an expensive time in computing but much better priced than other laptops on the market. Fan can be noisey if the laptop is under a lot of load but no louder than my desktop in the office.

Hidden Asus controls destroy productivity
Asus ProArt laptop. Despite turning off sleep and every sleep setting I can find, Ausus still sleeps my laptop in the night and switches all my AI tasks off. Several nights has lots me literally days of work and possibly cost me the best job opportunity I ever had. They have an Asus adpative sleep move which you can turn off from within the Aus desktop app (annoying) but that doesn't help. It is linking the sleep to a screen timeout workflow. This is an oled screen so of course i need the screensaver and screen off functions running to protect from screen burn, but if I set all the sleep settings to off then I do not expect Asus to connect core sleep functions to their screen care functions in the background and destroy my work, plus making me choose between a destroyed screen or no work getting done while I sleep. I'm livid they have been so cavalier with this when they know people use their systems for work. Asus has just gone seriously down in my estimations of customer care and considerate product development over the last week. I regret this purchase and what it has just cost me.
