A Blessing is a Blessing!!!
When a product is a blessing, it is a blessing - and this, if you have cats susceptible to respiratory issues, is a true blessing! One of my Five (5) "Babies", Glenn, when I adopted him going on 2 years ago, was near-death with Pneumonia (3 weeks of IV fluids, force feeding, 3 antibiotics and Lysine powder!). Luckily, he survived, but he has an immunity issue that makes him he extremely prone to respiratory infections. I used the prescribed Lysine powder for the first 6 months after he got better and decided to stop using it because he was starting to get "persnickety" about eating his food with it mixed in. Within TWO weeks, he was sick again, sneezing and wheezing. I went back to the powder, but soon had to dissolve it in water and syringe-inject it into his mouth at every meal. NOT FUN! Glenn was beginning to hate me and being strongly against long-term antibiotic use and resistance, I was fearing that I was going to have a cat who either hated me or I had to fight every single day. About 6 months ago, after stopping forcing the dissolved powder into his mouth (my arms can take only so many scratches!), he was sick again. I decided to do some research and found Duralactin. Reading up on it, I kept seeing reviews stating that cats love the taste and having Lysine assist in his recovery every single time since his adoption, WITHOUT antibiotics, I decided to try it. THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING I EVER COULD HAVE DONE! At night, when I do my bedtime routine, Glenn comes running into the bathroom and bugs me until I dial him a dose. I put it down towards him and he "paws" the injector to his mouth and all I have to do is shoot it in! See the picture!!! He thinks it is a treat! Since purchasing, he has not been sick again. Without the fighting him to take the Lysine, my mind is a lot more at ease. Per my Vet, the Lysine boosts his immunity and keeps him healthy, so as long as this is made, I will purchase it. Although, it is getting a little expensive for me . . .because his brother, Buggsie, now wants it everyday, too!!!!!!!!! They really do think it is a treat!!!!! *smiling*.

Wonderful product that really helps, we WILL buy again, and, WILL be a staple for our Cats!
I wish I hadn't lost my tube of this, I am ordering MORE! Our kitten had a sudden skin problem, losing fur, around her eye and under her chin, and, her ears were affected, and, her one paw. I read that it could be 'Feline Demodectic mange (caused by Demodex cati or Demode x gator) as this seems to be something that can happen with some Kittens, and, runs in families. We were waiting for our regular Vet that was booked up during the holidays. I tried another treatment that was supposed to be useful, 'Sulfur', and, first found some of that at a store in the form of a hair treatment for humans, as a cream, and, it really helped, so I knew that was progress. Sulfur can be found in dandruff treatments. Next I ordered a Sulfur for animal treatment from Amazon that was stronger, and, worked even better. This all was helping but I still had to be concerned with the Kittens Autoimmune system, and, so I read about how helpful Duralactin Feline L-Lysine could be and very safe. In between time, the Vet's Office confirmed both treatments as safe. The kitten got much better quickly, and, by the time of the Vet appointment is was nearly healed. The Vet assured us it wasn't Mange though, but ringworm, and, the Sulfur and Lysine were still the treatments she would have used for that. Sparkles didn't require anything else, and got a lot better. The Lysine was recommended to continue for a while, and, it would never hurt our other Cat Horsey either! Both Cats are healthy months later. This tube of Duralactin Feline L-Lysine, 32.5mL ...has so much in it, you just dial the small amount you want, and, we used only about .5 mil for the kitten and bigger cat, in their food, and, the dial locks in place, so you can squeeze all you want out, without emptying the rest of the tube, I think it would last normally a good six months, if you wanted to use it daily just for regular feline maintenance health. The las photo is Sparkles Healthy afterwards, in fact, that bit in her eye in last picture, is not the same thing, just very end of healing, she is completely clear now!

Great product if they'd fill the tube like its suppose to be
Was purchased for my sisters cat a lot of the tubes weren't completely full you had to turn the dial too far before anything would come out. It would have been a great purchase had the tubes been full and lasted like they were suppose too. What little was in there actually helped NyKyra (cat) hopefully by now they started filling the tubes cause we decided to go to another brand that lasted the amount of time it was suppose.

My cat loves it, and looks forward to it- from the first dose, I could tell he felt better- very easy to give in measured doses
One of my kitties had got really sick, so I got this to help with nutritional support. It's a big intimidating looking syringe but it's easy to work, there's a ring on it that unscrews that keeps you from pushing the plunger in too far. It makes it very easy to get a dose out. My sick boy wouldn't eat for a while, and he's still acting finicky, but he likes this a lot and he will lick it right off the syringe. It's to be given twice a day, either with food or directly as paste. Even after the first dose he started acting like he felt much better. It says to watch them for diarrhea but he's not had any side effects thus far. If he does, I'll update the review. So far his litter box activities have been 'normal.' He seems to like the taste a whole lot and acts like it is a treat. It couldn't be easier. It works better than the lysine treats that I've been using.

Miracle in a syringe!
When I ordered this stuff, I really wasn't sure it would arrive in time. My sweet kitty was declining so fast that I was preparing myself to put my baby down. She would walk 10 ft and just lie down. Her tongue would get stuck hanging from her mouth. Her mews were barely audible. She was breaking my heart. She's around 14ish years old minimum (age unknown when we got her). She's arthritic and has a tumor on her neck that makes her unable to swallow well. The paste arrived Sunday afternoon and I gave her one dose then, two on Mon and two yesterday on Tues. Today is Wed and she is walking up and down stairs. I know that she doesn't have long with us but she is my affectionate baby again and can live her final days in less pain. She even made her way to the garden on her own today to enjoy the sun under her favorite bush 💗 Only issue is that getting her to take it is quite the ordeal. For a cat who couldn't walk, she sure could fight. She doesn't like the flavor and hasn't been able to eat anything but paste anyway so, getting it down her throat is a messy, rather heart breaking disaster. 2.5ml never seemed like such a crazy amount before. I struggled with whether it was worth the trauma at first. If it didn't help her so much I wouldn't put her through it. Not docking stars for this because my kitty is notoriously picky though.

Effective but terrible dispenser and taste
Well my extremely fat cat who eats anything hates this. Poor guy was extremely excited to eat it right out the tube to discover he played himself. He usually eats the treats but this is cheaper and appears to be much more effective and I can judge better what amount he is getting. He gets uri symptoms that go away within a couple days following life changes and any stressful event—he was lost for a few days after I was in a car accident and became much more sick than usual due to this because he’s a giant baby. Significant lethargy, excessive clear ocular and nasal discharge and constant sneezing and he was degrading each day. One dose this morning and a few hours later he’s almost completely back to normal and hasn’t sneezed once. Fastest turn around I’ve seen and we’ve been using lysine for a while. The dispensing device is hilariously horrible in design—they tried to design it like a proviable dispenser but the dial isn’t tight enough and the divets aren’t deep/snug enough for it to be that accurate. However it’s easy to get it in the cat quickly this way. I wish they’d adjust the viscosity of the medication, it’s hard to dispense and the tube needs to be smaller for smaller cats mouths. Quite an odd choice for milk protein since it’s not typically something cats easily digest as it is so maybe keep your cat away from carpets during treatment.

Expensive, made my cat vomit
One of my cats has a recurring respiratory infection and I wanted to try lysine before putting him back on antibiotics. He liked this paste, but within 4-5 days he was throwing up. His infection was bad at this point so I took him to the vet. I brought the paste with me to show the vet, and as I was in the waiting room I noticed the warning on the package that this product contains milk proteins, which may cause vomiting in some cats. The vet put my cat on antibiotics again. Many reviewers here say that their cats don’t respond well to antibiotics, but mine does. Often he will be better the first or second day of treatment. This last infection was a bad one because I let it go on for months hoping that my cat would fight it off on his own. I talked to the vet about lysine and he told me to try it, but said it often doesn’t work because herpes infections cause too much nerve damage. In addition to the antibiotics, he gave my cat a distemper vaccination, which also treats upper respiratory infections in cats. He administered this in my cat’s nose, as it’s most effective this way. He said this often works wonders on cats that are very congested and crusted over. It did seem to give my cat some immediate relief. The vet said we can do this treatment every 6 months. As far as lysine, it’s very cheap in a powder form. The vet gave me a bag of it for free and told me to try it, it won’t hurt. 1/8th teaspoon mixed in with my cat’s wet food twice a day. If you do want to try lysine, I don’t know why you would use this expensive paste that might cause vomiting.

keety keety come lick up your goop keety keety
It is helping my kitty's eye discharge and nasal congestion. It's convenient to leave by a favorite chair since it is firmly capped, and squirt a little on your finger for kitty to lick up when kitty comes to visit. This makes it a remarkably easy cat med. Well, You might have to squirt some down her throat a few times, and then she'll be like, ACK ACK my throat already hurt and NOW THIS, you sadist, I think you've killed me ACK! But after a while kitty is like, I haven't forgotten what a puke you can be, but this is pretty tasty. I have not been using as much as recommended, she seems to do as well on a dab as she does larger amounts, but I do recommend doing it every day and not just on a need basis, because by the time the need is apparent, the cat is cranky, and not as interested in dealing with primates and the goop on their fingers. And then Kitty will say NOT NOW <bite> But most of the time it will be a nice bonding moment. It didn't completely cure my kitty's affliction, but within a couple weeks kitty was markedly less judgmental, the discharge was much less and her voice was more normal. It's not a substitute for a trip to the vet, and you might want to try a pet psychic, but it's good stuff. I have bought it more than once, and I will buy it many more times.
