What Double Sided Tape Was Supposed To Be
This is what people had in mind when they invented double-sided tape. It actually sticks to things. === The Good Stuff === * I have used this for electronics, lighting projects, even some simple "carpentry" where I wanted to attach wood to wood, but couldn't get a screw or fastener in place. Once the stuff gets a grip, it is very strong. * The surfaces have to be clean. It doesn't work especially well on drywall, since the top part of the drywall just flakes off as dust over time. But for anything solid- wood, metal, ceramic, glass-it was worked great. * There are other versions of this tape- notably a 3M product often available at auto parts stores and big orange box retailers. That version sticks equally well- maybe even a slight bit better- but the backing is not easy to get off the tape. (That version has red backing). The backing of this tape comes right off. * Have a sharp knife handy (or even scissors) to cut it. If you don't get a clean cut, tough to get the backing off, and doesn't grip as well if it is stretched. * A little alcohol prep to the surfaces does wonders for adhesion. Also it adheres better with a little bit of heat and pressure. If it is something I really want stuck, I hold pressure on it for 10-15 seconds or so. === The Not-So-Good Stuff === * The only surface I have found that it really doesn't stick to is silicone-the sort used for waterproof coatings for electronics. But then again, nothing else sticks to that stuff either. I have also used it with limited success on recessed can-light fixtures that slide out of their can and sit a little below the ceiling. The problem is that while they stick to the metal fixture, the drywall tends to just turn to dust and flake off. If there is enough of the rim of the can visible, they will help hold the light in place. * If you are real careful, it is possible to do a little repositioning once the tape has made contact...but you don't want to rely on this. One it gets a grip, it can take a bit of force to pull it away. === Summary === I bought this for a very specific electronics project, but it has become a staple in my toolbox. It is strong, reasonably priced, and does a lot of things well enough for my needs.

Best double sided tape I’ve used
So far I tried clear ones and foam ones from other brands. So far this is the strongest and cleanest tape I’ve used. I used it to stick my 280 ah lifepo4 cells together along with sticking BMS. I’ve also issued it to mount my wiring to ceiling and mounted outdoor blink cameras. It works perfectly. When you need to remove it does not leave any residue. Foam tapes are very hard to remove without a residue.

Tape Appears to Work Very Well But The Jury is Still Out
I used this 1/2-inch wide tape to re-affix a metal drain lip at the bottom of the metal frame of a glass shower door. The tape seemed very thick and sturdy, was easy to use, went on very snuggly, and seems to provide a good strong bond. The only question is will it continue to hold over time in this wet service/environment. Stay tuned, but this may take a while to determine - it is installed in a guest bathroom and the shower is not used very often. NOTE: The drain lip was originally affixed with an unknown brand of tape before the shower door was installed during construction of the house, and it stayed in place for over 25 years.

Good stuff
Got this to put up acoustic foam tiles on a concrete block wall. Just used about a one inch strip in each corner of each tile. Been up for months and nothing is moving. Really sticky and works great. Keep in mind, acoustic foam tiles are incredibly light so I can’t speak to how much weight they will hold but these adhered to both the foam and the concrete block wall. Didn’t come off either surface easily either when I tried to remove one. I’m sure this has many uses for a good, utility double sided tape.

Exceptional; my go-to double-sided adhesive
The adhesion on this is exceptional and the product easy to apply; it's my go-to for anything I need to keep stuck in place without resorting to truly permanent solutions (e.g. J.B. Weld, cyanoacrylates, etc.). Think situations like adhering a charger or power strip to the underside of a desk, strip lighting under kitchen cabinets, or things of that nature. While it will peel off anything you adhere it to with a moderate amount of force, don't expect it's going to come off cleanly unless you have it on a solid surface (e.g. naked ABC/PET/PVC plastics, naked wood/metal, etc.). If you have it, say, on a cabinet painted with latex paint? That paint is going to come off with it. Not a super big deal for me, but just be aware. I much prefer this stuff to, say, Command Strips; but that adhesion comes at a cost.

Incredible fastening quality
This VHB tape has many uses in my shop but the best is when I have a bracket to join to another part but no way to clamp and drill. I use the tape to attach the parts, drill my holes, and things stay lined up. The tape is thin enough that it doesn't affect the design of the project. It also works very well when attaching a door lock strike to a door jamb. You can tape the strike in place to check lock clearance, adjust if necessary, then drill your holes. What a time saver, and creates perfect lock/strike alignment.

Not disappointed at all
I purchased rollout shelf thingy the under the sink cabinet but the thing is, I'm supposed to attach that thing to the cabinet with screws. I needed an alternative to screws and lo and behold, I came across this tape. The shelf thingy stayed in place with no issues. Removing it was a bit tough and required a bit of patience as the adhesive was very strong.

Easy-to-use - must have household item
This tape is so convenient to have around the house. The adhesion is strong but the tape is lightweight and very easy to handle. I have used this for various uses including taping a light switch on a cord to the side of my bed for easier access. I've also used it to hang acoustic foam panels on my walls. Easy to remove as well.
