Halo Top Creamery, Oatmeal Cookie, 16 oz (Frozen)

I buy this product all the timeworth every penny

I've only tried two Halo Top flavors, so perhaps its too soon to say this but: THIS IS THE MOST DELICIOUS ICE CREAM IVE EVER HAD. Two things I thought I'd share:1. Its very custardy and smooth. This was strange because the packaging warns that its harder than other brands but I found this not to be the case for me. It wasn't "melted" but it offered no resistance like custard. Maybe it was my fridge, who knows.2. Don't expect it to be overflowing to the top like other brands - its exactly 280 cals worth so it goes to about an inch from the top. Its got bits of cookie in it, but don't expect a B&J kind of topping - there are no large chucks in this.

As I noted in my other review, halo top is amazingly delicious with a stellar nutritional profile. This review is specifically of the oatmeal cookie flavor. If you are expecting anything resembly chunks of cookie, you unfortunately are left with only little specks. These specks do have some oatmeal cookie flavor but are generally not as satisfying as actual cookie chunks. While I love halo top overall, I think this flavor probably isn't one of the best as I don't think cookie lovers will be that happy with the flavor

I am a big fan of Halo Top (and so are all of my friends)! I have tried a couple of their most recent flavors, and Oatmeal Cookie is one of my favorites. I really like the oatmeal cookie flavor and the texture of the oats in the ice cream.For those of you who have not had Halo Top, this is a healthy alternative to regular ice cream. I personally have a hard time putting down a pint of ice cream, so eating the whole thing at ~320 calories isn’t that bad! I also like the fact that it is made from all natural ingredients. Just know you should let it sit out before you eat it so it has time to defrost.

I have generally been impressed with the Halo Top flavors, have yet to hit a real clunker, but THIS ONE! So delicious! When I was a child my favorite ice cream was Maple Nut which I've not seen in many years, and this, while not exactly mapley, does hearken back to that. Also something vaguely Butter Pecan. In any case rich, oatmeally (actual oats in there) NO RAISINS (thankfully, how to ruin an oatmeal cookie imo) just the very best. Yummy noises with every bite.All of the Halo Top flavors have some degree of oddness in mouth feel, almost a dryness, when they first hit your tongue, but then melt into what you'd expect for a lighter ice cream. This one is creamier than most.

I am a big fan of Halo Top in general, but I didn’t love this particular flavor; it tasted really artificial to me and wasn’t as creamy as some of the other flavors. I love that they have branched out and made so many new flavors over the last few years but unfortunately this isn’t a repeat purchase for me.

this and pistachio are my favorite flavors, however I wrote the Halo Top company and asked about what probiotic fiber they use- their response was that they use IMO- isomalt. Quest bars used to use it too, but there was a lawsuit. IMO does get metabolized by the body- some peer-reviewed scientific studies have shown that on average about 75% of the IMO is converted into glucose in the large intestine/colon so you are actually getting more calories than they state on the label.

This is by far my favorite HALO Top ice cream flavor! So far, I have only found it on Amazon Fresh. I have placed orders just because I want this ice cream! It is that good!!!
