I have read the reviews of these devices snapping, the cast iron is brittle, especially under that much leverage. However, as most manufactures point out.. that.. To prevent this from happening, the punch needs screwed or bolted to a firm solid base. One surprising, undocumented, detail about this rivitt punch, is that it actually punches holes in light materials, it's mentioned in the instruction leflet.. I've tested it with thick double layered PVC banner material, it works great! So properly mounted and used with care, I'm confident it will give good service!

Everything I wanted, couldn’t have been better, high quality make and an affordable price. As a seamstress and bag maker in my spare time, this is great to add a high quality finish to my projects.

Utterly useless. I've successfully pressed 0 grommets, and I've tried all dye sizes. It doesn't press evenly leaving half the grommet unpressed. Not even close to working right. Pretty embarrassing that people manufacture this stuff. I took a punt on buying one hoping it might just be good enough, but not even close. The grommets/eyelets are as cheap as they come. Which says it all when the machine can't even press those. Herein lies the problem with the world, all this energy to produce and then deliver something that is garbage. Then return it. Then it's repackaged, then it's sold again. Then it's returned....... and the cycle continues. I think that's me done with Amazon.

This eyelet press is of very poor quality make. It doesn't sit flush with the surface due to a mold line running down the middle of the underside, making it wobbly. The 12mm die, which was what I needed, always bends the eyelet when pressed, making for a lopsided finish - I think it's made slightly too wide. The redeeming quality is that it came with a large number of eyelets and washers, making it cheaper to buy the whole set rather than buying the eyelets separately. Also a shame Amazon will only let me return the whole thing instead of contacting the seller - it would be servicable with a replacement 12mm die!

je n'y croyais pas au début quand je l'ai acheté mais c'est d'une simplicité avec ce bras que les pinces qui marche 1x/5. donc s'en hésiter prenez le c'est plus rentable que les pinces

Die Ösenmaschine funktioniert tadellos. Die entsprechenden Ösengrößen lassen sich zügig wechseln. Man braucht nicht übermäßig Kraft, eher ein bisschen Gefühl. Man merkt, wenn die Öse fertig verpresst ist. Einige Rezensionen kann ich deshalb nicht nachvollziehen. Wenn man sich natürlich wie ein "Ochse" auf den Hebel stemmt muss man sich nicht wundern, wenn der bricht. Dafür ist er auch nicht gemacht.
