Expensive but worth it. Nice and thick so they don’t tear or crack. Stretch enough to form a nice seal to keep water out. This works far better keeping my cast dry than the plastic bags the nurses gave me. A+

This water proof arm cover works great. After surgery I was able to shower and get in my hot tub without any worries about getting my incision wet. The cast cover is nice and thick. It is easy to put on.

Worked perfectly as described! I had hand surgery. This slips right over my hand and kept the water out so I could shower without getting my cast wet! The only thing I needed help was stretching it over my cast.

With a broken arm I needed some waterproof cover for my hand to almost elbow cast. I tried a clear plastic cover that came in a package of 3. I quickly discovered that while waterproof the were flimsy and I suspected that each one would not last long given that the cast will remain on for at least 6 weeks . I returned then in favor of this cover. This cover is very durable, quite waterproof, and relatively easy to get on and off. It was a slight bit of a struggle to get it over my hand/wrist area where the cast is a bit larger. After that it easily slid on and created a firm seal above the cast and just below the elbow. My only concern with the cover Is that the thumb portion needs to be a bit longer to fully accept the thumb. This might not be worth giving the cover 4 stars but I did want to call attention to what I thought, was for me, a shortcoming . As I previously stated the cover is great and I highly recommend it for any lower arm injury cast or dressing that needs to remain dry during bathing or showering

Good water seal. Worked great

This cast cover kept my arm (broke wrist, got shorter cover) BONE DRY. Went swimming, did sauna / Nordic spa with it. While kept above, typically floating on water, did submerge it many times. Saved our vacation. Definitely easier to shower too (much better than flimsy plastic. Airtight seal on skin — didn’t notice, comfortable. Swam as long as 2-3 hours at a time Great product — highly recommend.

We used this for our beach vacation and it was great. Sand and water tight seal to keep the cast nice and dry. This was worth the cost and saved our beach vacation with a broken wrist. Would recommend to anyone needing a cast cover!

I'm so glad Amazon sells this, b/c my elbow surgery with "cast" left me unable to do anything but walk and ride a stationary bike. My body needs to swim (to stretch my back, etc.) and do physical therapy (for my feet) in the pool. This (women's size) cover's tight grip on the upper arm didn't let any water in during the first 2 uses (when I was treading water with my legs in the deep pool or walking back & forth in the shallow pool), but a bit of moisture started entering on the 3rd & later uses (first just 5 drops, then 10, etc.) - perhaps b/c I have started "swimming" as best I can (about 40 lengths of the pool, gently). So I don't think these things last long. And I don't think it has a hole in it. But the grip of my upper arm is less strong now, so I guess I could try to have someone tie a lace or elastic band around it (& hope it doesn't move, which is a problem for the added band). I should also mention that it has a lot of "air" in it, so we have to deflate it (once we get it on) & then "tie it down" (so it doesn't flop all over while swimming laps). And the "thumb spot" is too far back (so you won't ever use that thumb spot). It won't last very long, but it was a worthwhile purchase!

Notre fils s'est cassé le bras avant les vacances... mais cela lui a permis d'aller à la piscine!

Ce produit a sauvé l'été de mon fils qui s'est cassé les os de l'avant-bras en tout début d'été. Il devait porter une résine 6 semaines et nous allions à la mer. Il n'avait pas le droit de mouiller sa résine forcément donc des vacances compliquées en perspective. Mais grâce à cette protection, mon fils a pu profiter de l'eau et aller dans la mer, bien sûr en faisant attention tout de même. On lui a dit de ne pas s'immerger entièrement mais il a pu jouer dans l'eau avec ces frères et soeurs, profitez des vagues. Il s'est immergé 2/3 fois par mégarde et rien n'a pénétré. Nickel ! Les médecins ont retiré depuis la résine et elle n'était pas abîmée à l'intérieur, la protection a bien été efficace. Nous avons pris un modèle taille adulte pour un enfant de 13 ans avec une résine allant jusqu'au dessus du coude. La taille enfant étant trop petite. Cette protection est parfaitement imperméable et étanche au niveau du bras. Bien respecter les consignes d'utilisation, c'est tout. Je suis en tout cas pleinement satisfaite de ce produit.

The Bloccs Waterproof Arm Cast Cover, Adult Short Arm, worked really well to keep my cast, and the surgical incision underneath it, dry while I showered. I used the sleeve daily for a month, and it never leaked, didn't tear, and didn't stretch permanently out of shape. I tried three different sleeves before settling on the Bloccs model, and I have no regrets. The opening is small and flexible, but not so small that you can't comfortably insert your cast covered forearm arm into it even if the cast is considerably larger than your arm. Once pulled over your cast/arm, the opening forms around your above-elbow arm to form a smooth waterproof seal with your skin. I'm a 5- 8" 70-yr old guy with average size forearms, and my cast added about 2-in diameter to my forearm size. Pulling on the sleeve was painless and easy, took about 30 seconds, and once sealed prevented even direct spray from getting inside. Removing the sleeve was as simple as toweling off the exterior, then using my fingers to open the seal and roll the sleeve down over my cast. I left the sleeve laying flat on the tub edge between uses. The sleeve looks like a large elongated balloon, the rubber is thick and very tough, and there's lots of room inside once on for the hand to move around if needed. The "thumb" wasn't particularly useful and just flopped around, but it also wasn't a problem. The sleeve looks ridiculous when on, but it does the its job well, and who cares how you look when you're in the shower anyway?
