She’s not quite lifting the flaps on her own yet, but she loves crunching them in her hands and exploring the textures. It’s just the right size for her to hold, and I love that it’s soft and safe—even when it ends up in her mouth.The illustrations are simple and sweet, which makes it perfect for short attention spans. I love this Melissa & Doug Soft Activity Baby Book. It's just as pictured. It's fun, colorful, interactive, and very soft. I love that it's machine-washable, which is huge when you have a teething baby, and fun for babies as young as 3 months. I would definitely recommend this toy.

My 18-month-old loves it. It allows you to interact with your child while also playing peekaboo and reinforcing object permanence, the best part is that it is made out like f fabric and baby cannot pull it apart. A plus: it comes with its own storage bag.

Great soft book!!. I was looking for one to see how interested my daughter would be, and I am glad I purchased this one. Great quality and I appreciate the protective case as well. Highly recommend! (Definitely prefer it to the other peekaboo by melissa && doug).My daughter is only 3mo, but she is starting to reach out for things and hold on to them. We “read” this book daily during tummy time, and she seems to have really started to enjoy grabbing and feeling different parts of the book. I think this book will be get better for her as she gets older as well.I say “read” because there’s no real story here. Just a soft baby book. I make up the stories while she feels and touches different parts. I guess I was expecting a small story of some kind, so thought I’d share in case others are wondering about this.
