Works with Popsocket
There are a number of reviews on this item, and only one mention of the Popsocket. I guess there are two now. As another reviewed noted, it works with the Popsocket extended making it necessary to lift up slightly to get the socket above the top of the holder. Not a huge deal, but... I recently added the socket to alleviate pain I was experiencing. I discovered that it was because I was using my pinky to prop up the phone while holding it, but the Popsocket resolved that. In any case, as the other reviewer noted, you have to lift the phone slightly off the cradle. I sawed off a small amount of the upright portion of the stand to solve that. It still works fine with my XL size phone and now I can just grab the phone off the stand and it does not matter that the socket is extended or pushed flat. ***Note: If you decide to do this, you're on your own so make sure you really want to saw off some material. If you use said socket, where you have it placed on the back of the phone would govern how much you cut, and if you cut it too short it may not hold the phone securely, so you need to take that into consideration before you do something you cannot undo. Use a fine tooth blade and go slowly so as not to splinter the wood. I then hit the new edges with sandpaper to smooth out the cut.*** Now for the stand itself. It's a simple thing that works as it should. It holds the phone up high enough that I can actually charge my phone while it sits upright on the stand. It does slide around a bit on my end table, (it isn't heavy), but a trip to the hardware store and a few bucks for some anti skid stuff will easily rectify that. Before I discovered this, I considered fabricating something for myself, so I was happy to find someone had thought of it already. In summary, it's a nice little stand and it works as expected. I'm glad I purchased it!

Cool stand
I am using this as a "now playing" stand. Works great for 7" music albums but your 10" ones won't fit on. It looks good, got a charming natural touch and it is pretty stable.

My Cell Phone Gets The Best Reception With This Little Wooden Holder!
I am extremely happy with this purchase, and it comes with an unexpected surprise (more on that later). First, however, I commend Rostmary Gifts for outstanding customer service, which deserves more than five stars. I ordered two of this item one each for my office and kitchen, but received only one. I contacted the seller, and received a prompt reply, and a second holder was shipped out and arrived within a few days. Second, this little holder, although lightweight, exceeded my expectations. It was tightly packaged in a small box, protected with shred, inside a second small box. My first impression was not entirely positive because it was small and felt too lightweight for the price. There is an old saying that "good things come in small packages", and that applies to this holder! I will be buying more for gifts for friends' birthdays coming soon. I own a 5V J.C. Power 1000 external charger that I love and take with me when I leave my home or office (I have given many as gifts), but I needed the convenience of a charging "stand" so my cell phone would be upright for viewing in my office or in the kitchen. This was the fifth cell phone holder I purchased to accommodate charging my Blackberry Classic with a Stilgut book-like leather case (I am a Blackberry hold-out :). The first two were metal and were supposed to "auto charge" back to back with my phone through the thickness of the leather case while the USB cable was attached to the bottom of the device. Neither one charged at all, even with the front cover of the case hanging open, and even when the case was removed, which was inconvenient anyway. Both were returned. The third model also was metal and had a cylinder that snapped into grooves of another cylinder for adjustable height options, but the lowest height was too high for comfortable viewing. It, too, was returned. The fourth model had a fixed micro-USB port at the bottom of the device wherein my phone's micro-USB port was to fit into. No amount of adjustment made it work with or without the leather case (as a side note, I read countless complaints about those fixed micro-USB ports that when pulling the phone out of them, sometimes the port came with it and remained attached to the bottom of the phone). The fourth one also was returned. This little wooden holder from Rostmary Gifts has a nice wood stain with no rough edges (this review does not give me an option to attach a photo). My Blackberry sits at a perfect height and angle two inches from the desktop. Also, I don't need to remove the book-like case leather case, and the front cover can fold behind the phone, which is how I use it. A huge convenience is that when I plug the micro-USB cable into the bottom of my phone, the wooden stand leaves plenty of space (2" verticaly) that puts no tensio on the cable or stress on the port. Saving the best for last, the surprise is that when my phone is upright, I have a consistent 4-5 "bars" of reception (my carrier is AT&T). When my phone is flat on my desktop or on the kitchen countertop, I am lucky to see three bars, so people say I am "cutting out" of the conversation, or they hear an echo. I do have many windows in my office and home, so I don't know what the reception would be like in a basement or room with four walls and no windows. If Rostmary Gifts reads this review, my only (constructive) comment is to place tiny rubber or silicone (rather than plastic) discs on the bottom in four places to prevent the holder from easily moving around when reading a text or making a call-back. I highly recommend purchasing this item.

Nice Style but Questionable Quality.
Between a 4 and a 5 on this one. Really nice look. Light weight. Fine color. I appreciate the design of the bottom/shelf in that I can easily pick up and set down my phone, even when it's charging. The only thing I don't love is the finishing. It seems a little cheap - E.g., cheap wood, not totally smoothed; the stain (if that's what it is) isn't applied evenly, the stain isn't really for protection, it's just to add a little color. It gets the job done and looks good.

Pop socket friendly
Great! The only wooden stand I could find that works with a pop socket! You have to extend the pop socket open, but holds iPhone 17 perfectly and charges without kinking the cord.

I had been searching for a sturdy phone holder for my large phone. Mostly for when I charge it but ideally also for when I'm viewing a vid or scrolling through websites. One feature I particularly like about this is that it holds my large (Samsung Galaxy Note 9) phone which has a PopSocket attached to it. Many holders can't hold a phone in a stable way when you have something like that on it. It's also really nice that it's made of wood, not plastic. and is attractive, too. A friend admired it and I plan to order one for his birthday.

Came in excellent condition. Works great for my Samsung tablet. Recently, bought another one for my husband's Samsung phone. He also likes this stand.

This product, so far, has been good. It does what it is supposed to do and has enough room between the holder and the bottom not to bend most of my charging cables. There is one that has a reinforced connector that is long enough to bend. It is made out of a lighter wood so if I try to use my phone I have to be careful how hard I tap the screen as tapping near the top can cause a wobble. I would probably buy this again anyway.

It’s ok, nothing special. I’m going to mount it to a piece of wood to give it a more sturdy base.

i am really happy with this product, as a matter of fact, i think it is the only time i actually felt compelled to write a review! it is just like in the picture. Not too heavy, but does not topple over either. nice looking and classy. i have a card pocket glued to the back of my phone, and despite of that, this stand still accommodates my cell really nicely (unlike my old one). i will buy another one for my mom now. it is not varnished, only a wood wash, so just a heads up, try not to spill any liquids on it :-)
