LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi PORG 75230 Building Kit (811 Pieces) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

This isn't big, and seems odd that it gets a UCS type of plaque, but that's OK.I thought the porgs were overdone a bit in the movie, but they were still cute, and my son loves Legos so I grabbed this.Build is easy, the end result is a surprisingly good representation of them considering the limitations of Legos...And it's well under the 10 bucks per hundred pieces that I look for as the price point. Often there's the "Disney tax" on items, but that's not at all the case here, this is considerably less than the average.So if you like Legos and Star Wars, this is an excellent addition to the collection...

Our daughter has been in love with Porg since we bought her the plush stuffed animal when the movie came out. When her birthday came around, it seemed only right to purchase this Lego set as a daddy-daughter project. We had a lot of fun putting this together, though I will admit her attention span towards the end was about what you would expect from a young child. The instructions were very thorough, so we/I had no issues completing the build....but it isn't something you will whip together in 20 minutes...plan accordingly! In the end, the final product was just what we had hoped for... a cute little Porg that we can display and think about from time to time.Lego quality is on-point, per usual. The pieces ALWAYS fit, and they do include a brick separator as well as a few spare parts for the items you might possibly lose (the parts.... So. Many. Parts.) Value is always a funny concept when it comes to Lego, so judge that for yourself. It was a bit of a splurge, considering what you are buying, but we were happy with the outcome.

My 11 year old son received this for Christmas. He is a huge Star Wars fan and a huge LEGO fan. Last year he received the BB-8 display build and loved it so thought this would be a great addition. Of the 4 Lego sets he received this was the one he decided to build first. He had no trouble building it and was happy with his gift.

Fantastic project for daughter who loves legos and star wars

I was REALLY excited about this set when I saw it was coming out. The Porgs are some of the more interesting things from the Last Jedi Star Wars movie. Having a little guy with a name plate makes him a great display piece for your home or office and the kid loves playing with the articulating body parts!

Box came in nice with plenty of protection. It did take a while to get to me since it’s coming from South Korea. No missing pieces. Happy with purchase.

First, Amazon dropped the ball and the product box inside the shipping box was bent and dented. As a collector this really upset me. I don't want to deal with the hassle of returns or exchanges, so I'm keeping it as is (I ordered from Amazon SPECIFICALLY because I wouldn't have do do any running around), but I'll be very wary of ordering collectables from amazon again.As for the product, It's cute. My kids were excited to see it and love helping me put together my Legos when I'm not helping them put together theirs. This one has been dubbed the "Chewbacca Penguin" and I love that name. It's something different and interesting and looks good on a shelf. However, I hate that a set this size was wasted on a Porg. As a collector I look forward to the "UCS" sets (Yes, I know this isn't technically a UCS set, but it has the label plate and stand, so bit me) and I think there could have been many better choices instead of a Chewbacca Penguin. That's me spouting off as a collector, not just a Lego/Star Wars fan.It's a good set, at the Amazon price. A little repetitive at points, but a neat model and not difficult to assemble. Again, the kids love it and the girlfriend didn't flip out when I told her how much it was, so it's a win for me overall. I'm peeved at Lego for wasting a set at a price point that could have delivered something far superior, and I'm REALLY peeved at Amazon for the condition of the box, but I'm happy with the product.

This was really fun to put together and is very unique looking. Being a Star Wars fan a Porg LEGO set was a no brainer. Also comes with a porg mini figure.

Definitely not for beginners or for small children.Takes time and patience’s and is very fun to build. My daughter is still working on it and just loves it. Great gift.
