DK Readers: The Story of Chocolate (DK Readers Level 3)

It is a small-sized paperback but the information is well organized, detailed, good graphics, and perfect to give a child an introduction to chocolate! I made it a part of an Easter Basket for my grandkids since I knew that the subject would interest them, but they weren't going to spend much time reading a long account of chocolate's history. This was perfect!

Read this to my students. I am not sure who enjoyed it more. Lol. Great read. Interesting facts one may not have been aware of.

If you like chocolate, this is definitely worth getting. It is well written for the age group, lots of interesting information, and fun to read. My daughter is still a little young to read this herself, but she enjoys having mommy read it to her. She does try reading the easier parts of the book.

What?! I have absolutely no idea what the text box on the bottom of of 15 is meant to say, but I’m now dreading sharing this book with my third graders. I had planned to use this as a nonfiction companion to the novel “The Chocolate Touch.” I’m sorry I ordered a class set before previewing. Other than that randomness, it appears to be a great resource.

I read this book with my kids in preparation for a presentation on chocolate and found it to be very colorful, informational, and interesting.

This is a nice history book that taps into a subject children are interested in. Includes a bit of a science lesson, too.

Paid for a new book. There is a section torn out of one of the pages. Very disappointing. I cannot give this to my grandson.

This book looks awesome and is the perfect follow up to a half term's work with a KS3 special needs class on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I bought this to aid my literacy class because I wanted to capture their interest andeveryone loves chocolate. It worked very well.

very useful for encouraging young readers, especially ones that like chocolate. Us usual DK have produced a good, interesting book.
