My two year old son is enamored of farm animals, particularly the bovine species. Naturally, he chose to be a cow for Halloween. I didn't want a costume that might rip under toddler conditions, and based on earlier reviews, this costume appeared to be the best cow quality, and so it proved on 31 OCT.Never mind that the other children's costumes scared my son -- he was an adorable bull calf and the T4 size, while somewhat long in the leg for him, was a proper fit for his two year old head and torso. I was also impressed with the plushness of the fabric and happy that the feet allow for the use of shoes. My son could not resist pulling his tail, but failed to remove it; happily the seams appear to be decently-sewn. The head is nicely padded and will not flop about. A sole caveat would be that the suit is toasty warm, being so plushy -- so is best employed for short periods, with minimal undergarments, or for outdoors trick-or-treating.DO NOT buy the advertised size for your child's age. These made-in-China things all run absurdly small. We bought a T4, not T2, and were lucky we did.In sum: CUTE, and will last the season and for several Halloweens thereafter, should successive siblings care as much for cows.

This was perfect for my 2 year old! It was super warm for our midwest chilly halloween! I bought size 4-6 for my son and he wears 4t. Fit great with a little room for comfort. He still wears this off and on and it proves its durable! Definitely recommend this costume!

Halloween was a little warmer this year where I live; of course because I purchased a thick costume!! I bought the small 4-6 size for my 2.5 year old son, it was a little big and baggy but not too bad. The elastic around the attached head piece was tight which I think helped keep the muzzle and horns on top of my son's head, but not too tight that it left indents or hurt him. There is elastic around the wrists and ankles, which was tight enough to stay in place without leaving indents. The tail is attached and just fabric, doesn't have any moldable wire stuff in it which was good - it just hung down like a regular cow's tail does.I think the reason I dropped to a 4 star rating is because of the Velcro closure on the front. They are 2" Velcro pieces spaced about 4" apart. Because the head piece is attached I understand why the closure is on the front, but I wonder if a zipper or snaps would work better. My son didn't have to pull hard on the Velcro to open the costume up.

My son loved this costume so much that when I tried it on him to make sure it fit he didnt want to take it off. My son is 2 and wears 2t but after reading the reviews I ordered a 4t. It fits him perfect. Only thing I would change is the inside is a bit scratchy feeling. It doesnt seem to bother him but he has enough room were I can have him in clothes underneith if need be.

Overall this costume is really cute. Quality materials and well sewn with velcro closures in the front. The issues I have with this costume are those similar to what I have read in other reviews.I did order up in size after reading reviews. Grandson fits large 2T moving to 3Ts though some he swims in. Size 4 costume is small. The hood/hat is adorable *but* far too tight and there is no way we could use the velcro under (or over even...) the chin area. The child is petite, he does not have a big head. It was not comfortable. This is the only reason this is not a 5 star rating.This was great for a short trip for trunk or treat but would not have lasted on him for two hours or more. He did enjoy the snuggly feeling and soft fur. Good costume for cooler area's. Not advisable for warm states (countries).

My almost three-year-old *loves* this costume. Bought it for Halloween, but she want to wear it all the time. Even though it's a bit big for her, it looks great and was perfect in our colder climate. She got lots of compliments.
