According to the Toltec/Aztec calendar, which describes larger cycles of time or Suns than the Mayan calendar, humanity has been in a transition that started in 1991, moving from the 5th to the 6th Sun. During this shift the influence of both Suns is equally present, as is the case when the seasons change. This shift is also a shift in human consciousness, in our understanding of how we relate to the whole of existence. The custodians of this 1,460-year-old uninterrupted oral tradition now reveal this ancient wisdom to the world, in written form, for the very first time. This book contains breathing exercises, poses, and other ancient practices that are based on cosmic mathematics that show us how to realign ourselves with the universe, Earth, and the elements, and with our highest nature so that we can take responsibility for the sacredness of life and move successfully through this transition from one Sun to the next. Review: Open the realm of possibility - This view of Quetzalcoatl on the front cover is new to us. This book is about our flowering (our enlightenment) and how to get there. It has invaluable information which was previously hidden from us, but is now graciously being shared with the whole world. It will change your life if you actually DO the practices contained therein. Getting to a workshop given by him is also invaluable, and contains much more information than can be put in any book. These teachings form a complete system for clearing out old karma from past lives and family patterns. These techniques also help us gain new abilities and enable us to create our life the way we want it to be. Review: best of the kind . - In my opinion as a new toltec nagual tradicion revealed informacion and intruction without shamanic butterfly abstract knowledge pure in intent and clear in understanding the new wisdom is part of eveybody to share to feel to understand and practice .yes thumbs up i had read the don miguel ruiz books which are very loving and caring( to much love) but this one goes beyond anything feeling and wisdom united together great book for trully adventures of the dream like toltec nagual tradicion./nicolas prassinos./

Must read and practice!
I have been waiting to learn this precious knowledge all my life. The time is here to start creating from within and the great explanations and tools that are found in this book! Sergio makes logical sense of the tradition and presents it well so we can all understand. I have been a dreamer all my life and now I have the guidance to master my shadow and heal through the meditations and dreams with this newfound knowledge! Highly recommend this gem.

Fractal Fragments of ancient knowledge
The review title uses 'fractal fragments' because you get some insights into Mexica thought through the terminology and other mental concepts. I am using the word 'knowledge' rather than 'wisdom' here because much of these concepts are not entirely related together at least as presented in this book. I have no doubt the author has teachers in one or more authentic lineages, however the material is a rather dry read and is not integrated, it does not flow. Any mystical path will include, very clearly, elements of focus on the breath, and the four or five elements of earth, water, fire, air, and sometimes ether. In the Mexica/Azteca lineage, these elements are also related to the multi-dimensional 'Maya-Aztec Calendar' which is an encoded system of not only history but also mythology and is itself a visual bible of personal spiritual development. This integration and smooth focus and bundling of these topics never made it to a blossoming within the current editing of the material in this book. In fact, I would start with someone like Miktlan Ehekateotl Kuahtlinxan ( Serpent And The Sun Tales of an Aztec Apprentice ) to give you a better flavor of how the Mexica lineage is carried forward today rather than try and make the slog through this book your first stop. The few practical exercises in Chapters 8 and 9 have minimal explanations and relations to the concepts in this book. It's like trying to learn Karate from a book. You really need to have at least videos to first explain the context of the practice, then the preparation, the practice, and how to integrate. Overall the information in this book, though important to a certain extent, remains a set of fairly objective 'facts' that are really documented in the fashion of the western mind which is somewhat antithetical to their original wisdom tradition. The Mexica view is more mythic and extremely poetic and metaphorical almost to a pun. As an example, in the surviving codixes images like pulling out hearts are not depictions of human savagery and sacrifice. They are allegorical images depicting the ability to purify ourselves through working with breath, the elements, intention, and body movement. As Amerindian mystic Joseph Rael points out, it's really as simple as breath, matter, and movement to gain our way into both harmony with the universe, our awakening into a cosmic family, and our flowering as drops of the divine. This book has some general inklings of what it takes to walk on this path but is unable to fully capitalize on the potential at hand. And to counter something from the cover, Serio is not 'The new Castaneda'. Carlos went into far more detail around experience and relationship. But it's questionable how much he made it all up. No, Sergio's lineage is far more certain. He is a unique individual and I hope he continues distilling this information and builds into into something more accessible as he grows into an understanding of both this wisdom stream and himself. If you want to travel and understand the Toltec mind going to ancient sites such as Teotihuacan outside of Mexico City should be high on your list. Spend at least four days there visiting as much as you can and please avoid drinking alcohol at anytime during your stay. There is much that can come to you from the vibration of that place but if you are not sober you will miss MUCH of it. You can stay at The Dreaming House just a short walk from the gates of Teo.

Precious knowledge
What a book! For those interested in what we can expect of 2012 and beyond - and how to prepare ourselves internally, this is a remarkable book. Thank God and prophecy that the Toltecs let this information out now!

Well written Insights
Sergio Magana was priveledged to be allowed to write about the sacred information contained in this book. The message is clear and so needed for the new reality that we find ourselves in at this present time in the history of humankind.

The Dawn of the Sixth Sun
I want to thank this author for carrying these teachings forwards from the elders in Mexico. These are so valuable. I like the way that the author stays out of the way of the teachings except to add some smaller anecdotes regarding his own journey and work. It is a pleasure to meet with this type of work in an age when the worst of novels and useless publications gain celebration in our modern age. I think this book provides hope for the world. thanks to the author and this press - once again. I will be recommending this to all my friends and acquaintances.
