Some loose connections somewhere. It doesn't seem to want to come on and then when it does, it cuts out. When on, the light is steady and bright.

Low lumen flashlight
I thought that this flashlight would be brighter, I was sadly disappointed about its brightness. I was hoping it was an alternative to my maglites, it was not.

good. Flashlight has screw off end cap and behind ...
Looks, good. Flashlight has screw off end cap and behind the lens cover/bulb there is an aluminum plug that unscrews as well. There is a hole which measures about 9/16 inch in diameter in this plug. This means that anything in the area of 1/2" diameter will NOT fit snugly; it will pass through with room to spare. Someone may want to purchase an adapter from 1/2"x28 (for example) to say... 5/8" or 3/4" and then use that. Make sure that whatever taps you have match the threading on the 5/8" or 3/4" adapter. This is for people who want to extend their flashlight. For general flashlight use, the button is kind of cheap.

It's NOT the best flashlight in the world, Halogen Bulb, NOT very bright... but for other purposes it's ok, I'm going with the MagLite in the future...

A okay flashlight.
I had never heard of "Greatlites" until I saw some glowing youtube reviews of some.So I decided to get one for myself and one for my son.This is not as good a flashlight as, say, a Maglite or a Streamlight.Construction is a bit cheezy.For the price (don't forget the shipping from the U.S. of A. - almost 50 bucks total) I was expecting better.But it's not completely bad either.I use it around the house and garage at night.However, I will be replacing it something smaller and better when it craps out.As always, YMMV.
