Great for home use. I have tried several brands and this is the best yet. The cuff is easy to wrap around my arm and it inflates quickly. This is the first machine that does not cause a lot of pain when inflating. I have a large arm and assumed it would always be painful. What a surprise that it is not! Of course there is slight discomfort which is expected. After it reaches the maximum inflation, it quickly deflates to give the reading. The display is simple and easy to read. It may not have all the fancy features of other products, but those are unnecessary if all you want to know is your blood pressure. It is small and easy to store. I've only had this for a short time, but hope it lasts because no other machines have worked so well.

I had no previous experience with taking my own BP or others. The instruction manual (English & Spanish) is very detailed and informative. The cuff size must fit the user or erroneous readings will result. The default cuff size included (wide range cuff--8.6 - 16.5") fits the average person's bicep."Large; Medium; & Small" cuffs can be bought separately. Diagrams showing how to place the cuff are well labeled but hard to clearly discern due to small size. The monitor stores and averages up to 60 readings. However, if 2 or more want to use it, then one should keep a separate individual log of readings and clear the Memory for the other person who separately logs their readings. The memory clear function works, but it is difficult to activate it as simply as instructed in the manual. To get started it is helpful to have another person to assist. After a couple of times, one can measure their own and get meaningful data. It is cost effective.

I needed to be sure of my results as I track my health progress. I am happy with my product. It is accurate; I compared it with one at the doctor's office, and was glad to see it can be trusted. The arm band is good for 3 size groups instead of just one, which is good because if you lose some weight you won't need to purchase yet another cuff. It can be a little tricky to get the cuff properly onto your arm and locked in place. One thing is, it has only one button, so can't just immediately look through the history menu of measurements unfortunately. Also, it would have been very helpful to have a lighted display for night time use, which many of these designs lack.

I took this monitor to several appointments, where we compared it against three different monitors used by the providers, and it measured higher than ALL of them. It also measures higher than the one I currently use at home. I checked the battery and the hose connection, and both are fine. As I recall, it made more sense brand new out of the box, and then the calibration drifted off after a short time. But the real kicker is that even when it worked correctly, it still classified a reading of 116/80 as "hypertension" (red zone) which is absurd. How this device got "clinically validated" is beyond me - I'd love to learn more about their "validation" process! In summary, I don't recommend this model. I'd recommend ALMOST ANY model over this one - not only because it's inaccurate, but because they mislead customers about its validity. Maybe some people got an accurate one, but others including myself, certainly didn't. I'm frankly disgusted and appalled by the fact that they continue to push it out the door: it used to be priced in the thirties, and right now it's in the twenties with a coupon! Don't fall for it. You deserve better.

J’ai utilisé ce tensiomètre sur le bras, et je suis assez satisfait. Le fonctionnement est simple : un seul bouton, un brassard large (22‑42 cm environ) fourni, ce qui convient à la plupart des adultes. Le grand affichage est clair, les chiffres sont visibles et le résultat est facile à interpréter. Ce qu’il m’a plu : L’appareil est cliniquement validé : une étude a montré que le modèle UA‑651 remplit les exigences de validation selon le protocole international. Le brassard “SlimFit” est sans latex et sans métal, ce qui est un bon point pour le confort. Le bon rapport qualité‐prix : il est plus abordable que certains modèles haut de gamme tout en offrant des fonctions sérieuses.
