Very easy to install. Super user friendly. Has a nice quality video. The only thing that took maybe 10 minutes to figure it out was sending the invitation to my wife so she can have access to the doorbell app, not just me. Oh, and you if you leave on a main street that has high traffic, you are not ready for the notifications. What I mean by that is that the doorbell sense people really fast and if the it's set up for that, you'll get a notification for every person that passes by your house. I had to set the sensor to the lowest level, and even with that it still so good at detecting people. Also, there's no need to put the SD card into the Chime, just place it into the doorbell and you have the recordings available on your phone through the app. But if you want to you can put one into the Chime, but that means you'll have to buy 2 SD cards. But everyone is different. Anyway, this is one good doorbell and the price range is acceptable compared to others.Regarding the battery, I only lost 1% so far and it has been on for 5 days. So is going to be a while till the battery runs out of juice. And to avoid any headaches, i bought a second battery as a backup when i need to charge the first one. But with the way things are going I don't think is going to happen soon. Also, Night vision, crisp quality, but depends what lighting you have in your area, still it performs very well.Overall, I am glad that I bought this doorbell, now I don't have to worry that I will not hear when someone knocks atthe door.

A very nice doorbell packed full of features. We're using it via battery in optimal surveillance mode and it's yet to drop from 100% battery (had it for a few weeks now). We did have an issue with some missed events, but increasing the sensitivity of the doorbell and turning on all the AI modes seems to resolve it for us. The sound quality is average and the video quality is good.We also have a homebase 3 which we use as a chime and for video storage and this doorbell connected to it right out of the box making setup a breeze.App notifications and accessing the live feed have a slight delay, maybe 1 or 2 seconds, but I understand this is lower if you hardwire the doorbell. The app has a nice interface and is easy to use although sometimes it does freak out and send you loads of notifications (this has only happened once for us).Overall very good doorbell and good value, with no fees (unless you want cloud storage), would be nice if the doorbell events supported multiple events in a single clip (like ring) but maybe future versions will support this.

The Eufy C31 is imo better than the E340 dual camera doorbell camera simply because it supports 24/7 recording. Id imagine eufy realized they royally messed up forgetting the most important feature with their flagship 2x costly E340 model and will release a newer model in future with 24/7 or patch it.So the instructions are pretty bad and incorrect, I spent hours scratching my head since I followed page 1+ and at end it says to add the minibase chime to the eufy app. I did all this and my minibase chime was not working with any doorbell ring sound at all despite saying 100% it was connected and all good in the eufy app. A quick google sent me to reddit with dozens of people saying they had the same issue (August 2025). The fix is simple, ignore the eufy website/manual since its wrong, you install the eufy app then install the chime/mini base first! Then the actual C31 doorbell camera last, this allowed my eufy chime speaker to work correctly so now I can switch off the C31 doorbell ringtone to zero volume and use my eufy chime speaker to hear it inside the home instead with a much annoying less volume might I add.Eufy app bugs, its hit and miss so for example it generates an QR code and ask to point the doorbell to your eufy app QR generated code 8inches away, nothing happens moving it back n forth. If you click go back and re-try it than goes through. Wifi detection was also iffy, I again had to click go back and then forwardI also found its much better to use it wired powered, and can confirm wired gives you the 24/7 record mode option (under power manage on eufy app), you can install the sd card to the doorbell itself rather than the mini base chime so this way the picture/video is 2-3 seconds faster and much more reliable than using the battery. I can confirm the amazon sold ring gen2 power adaptor works fine with eufy doorbells, wired mode the battery stays at 99% despite 100s of motion detections.Knocked off 1 star due to Eufy very poor manual/documentation and overall poor support (forums) and poor engineers forgetting to add 24/7 to their latest flagship model.

I regret switching to the Eufy C31. The picture quality is poor—my old Ring Pro 2 (which is years older) is far better. The viewing angle is limited, unlike the Ring’s coverage. What’s worse, when someone rings the doorbell, it comes through as a phone call on my iPhone—frustrating! My Ring would just give a quick notification or thumbnail on my Apple Watch. Plus, it’s slow: from pressing the doorbell to actually seeing the video can take about 30 seconds, by which time the person is gone. My Ring was instant—open it, and you can immediately see and speak to the person. The Eufy app doesn’t integrate with Alexa either, so it won’t even show on my Echo Show. In the end, I’ve reinstalled my Ring and will pay the subscription. At least it works. Not recommended.

Great doorbell with reliability!Mounting the doorbell is easy and the camera is durable in all conditions. I’ve not experienced any fogging or water drop on the lenses.This model allows the battery to be changed quickly so I’d recommend having a spare battery. Configuration of the doorbell is easy and the application guides you well through the settings should you need to adjust anything. The night vision is great and it’s easy to make out people and other objects even with low light.I found the doorbell is more responsive without the Homebase and connected just to WiFi. There is also a cool feature that calls your phone when the button is pressed which makes answering the bell when driving very easy !

The door bell was very easy to install and set up, it also works a treat with very good clarity and the battery life is fantastic. However the door chime that accompanied it is useless. It simply won't connect no matter what you do. I have tried resetting it, re locating it but it initially connects and then disconnects failing to complete it's set up procedure.

This is a great bit of kit. It ticked all my boxes on requirements, and in fact more due to the compatibility with home Alexa setup. The doorbell is sturdy built and smart looking, very easy to setup, just take it one step at a time. I purchased a separate MicroSD card and mistakingly bought a 512gb card, it takes max 128gb MicroSSD so I had to get another, mentioned so no one else does it :-)The app on the phone is slightly sluggish to connect to the doorbell, even within range, but not an issue as it alerts fine and connects instantly when the bell is rung. I read battery is an issue, however, I charged mine to full when I unbowed it, and it's now been up 15 days and has only gone down to 74%, so unless you are sitting there watching the neighbours throughtl it constantly, battery life doesn't seem an issue at all.The additional plusses are no subscription and it's portable (I haven't hard wired it but everything to do so is supplied, with jumpers to use existing cabling) - as I plan to move soon.

Great, video is clear and uses barely any storage on the SD card; 2 years of footage before a 32gb sd card starts to replace old videos! Never a problem with these eufy camera however cannot get it to have press notifications on my alexa devices, not sure why.

We purchased this doorbell specifically because it didn’t need to be wired to previous doorbell and because there were no subscription fees. It took a little while to get it working properly to record but that was due to a faulty SD card and to no fault of the camera itself. I love that you can see the events and that you don’t have to pay a monthly fee to do so. Picture quality is great and the app is quite user friendly. The only thing that could improve on our end is the motion detection being quicker. We have ours aimed down our stairs and the motion detection set to high but if a delivery driver is super quick to drop off a package, the camera misses the event. This may be solve-able if we were to move the camera to another location but we have it covering the hole in our house from our old doorbell so we prefer not to move it. Otherwise, it’s a great camera. Battery life doesn’t last quite as long as we had hoped but it’s chargeable and super easy to do so has caused us no issues.

Die Verarbeitung der Türklingel merkt man sofort beim Auspacken, wirkt hochwertig und nicht billig. Die Montage war einfach und könnte von Laien durchgeführt werden, auch dank der beiliegenden Borschablone.Etwas kniffliger hat sich die Einrichtung der Homebase bzw. Klingel in der App gezeigt. Speicherkarten oder teilweise Änderungen wurden erst nach der Neuinstallation der Klingel in der App registriert, was zu Verwirrung bei einigen Kunden führen könnte.Seitdem läuft die Videoklingel problemlos und zuverlässig mit sehr guter Video- und Audioqualität. Bisher vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen!
