S'well Sports Cap, Fits 25oz Original Bottle, 18/8 Stainless Steel Cap, BPA Free

I wouldn't say it's totally 100% perfect, as there is a bit of a metallic taste (yes, I washed it before use) and it requires you to touch the area near where you drink. But I'm super picky about water bottles and lids, and this is a pretty good one for my tastes. First, it is leakproof. That's a big deal for me. I want to be able to throw it in my beach bag, in my car, wherever, and not worry about it tipping over and spilling. Second, it's easy to use one-handed. The one thing I don't like about normal screw-tops is that I can't open it while driving or while holding something else, etc. Third, no straws required. Straws are just one more thing to keep clean. Fourth, it is easy to clean. I'm a huge fan of my Contigo Autoseal water bottle where I only have to push a button to drink, but those lids with their spring-loaded contraptions etc are very hard to keep clean. I don't want to drink out of a moldy lid. This S'well lid is the next best thing in terms of ease of use, but with a more simplistic design that I can keep clean. Last but not least, I notice no compromise to the effectiveness of keeping my drink cool. I've had ice in my 25oz bottle (with water) for about two days at the time I'm writing this, and it hasn't melted yet. The only thing that remains to be seen is how long it lasts or whether it breaks. Still, so far I'm very happy with it.

My one complaint about the Swell bottles is that I had to unscrew the lid every time I wanted a sip! With this sports top I can grab water with one hand and quickly. I wish they made these sports tops for their other sized bottles as this one only fits the original 25oz bottles. And every bottle should have the option of choosing who lid you want to include with your purchase. One drawback is that it does leak if turned on it’s side with the sports top.

I needed a new screw cap lid for my 25oz swell because the threads were worn out after 1 year and it became impossible to screw the lid on and off. This sport cap was the only one available on amazon for my size bottle. I actually like the convenience of not removing the cap to drink. The button is nice and convenient. But the opening is small in my opinion. You can always unscrew the cap as you would with the older version cap. It's great!

Dropped my 25 oz swell on linoleum floor 5 minutes after putting new lid on🙄 Inner piece of lid flew off and water was everywhere.I immediately ordered new one but fiddled and fiddled with inner piece of broken one and I fixed it! Now I have 2 and it fits on 23 oz sip swell bottle too! Its great to not have to unscew lid to drink my ice cold water when driving.Swell products are the best!!!!

I bought this for my huge 25 oz swell water bottle that I never leave home without. I was so tired of unscrewing the cap to drink all day long. This flip cap is well made but for some reason it's so tight it's hard to just push it open so it the flip part opens. It could just be me but I don't feel like it's as convenient and smooth when you're trying to just pop it open when you're on the go. It hasn't leaked out the cap but I've had a few drops come out from the seal. That could have been the way it was in my bag too, who knows. I've continued to use it because it was made to fit the swell but i/m not in love with it. It works "good enough" compared to the cap.

I am very happy with this sport top! I prefer a Swell bottle over any plastic sport bottle hands down!!!! Plastic is carcinogenic!! This makes it way easier & quicker than having to unscrew the top, especially if often. It never leaks, but be certain it’s closed completely. Also, some complained the stream of water that comes out is so little it’s annoying. I don’t find this issue at all. If it’s open fully, plenty of water comes out. The only issue I have found (and it’s a significant one to me), is the area you drink from is touched by your fingers. Fingers that surely must have touched dirty objects at work, and very germ ridden equipment at the gym. I haven’t come up with a great solution yet 😣. I use hand sanitizer and make sure it is all absorbed and fully dry, which isn’t a bad thing to do anyway prior to every time I want a drink. I’ve used clean tissues at work additionally, v. my fingers. At the gym I use hand sanitizer as well and often! And the inside of my shirt (near the bottom which doesn’t touch even my own skin) v. fingers. It seems a lot of trouble to use this top, but it isn’t in reality. I’m hoping to come up with an easier solution eventually.

These are terrible- especially for the price! As other people have stated- the blue rubber seal slips off constantly (and I have multiple of these- they’re all the same issue)- so it won’t close or does close but leaks. Additionally- one has already broken off completely inside so I useable. (I’ve probably used it 10-15 times total!). It’s complete crap and hopefully swell will listen and redesign!!

This is the easiest sport lids to use ever. To open it you push down and you will see blue which indicates it’s open. To close it you push it down. It was like a light switch. It is either on or off. These fit my bottles perfectly. Just be sure you were getting the right size which is listed on the page. These don’t leak. Easy to hand wash.

I love my S'well bottles. They do a remarkable job and keeping water cold. Pop in some ice cubes and 24 hours later the water will still be cold. The only inconvenience for me was the cap. I am a sipper so it was cap on-cap-off-cap-on, repeat (simply leaving the lid off leads to the water getting warm much faster). The sports cap by comparison keeps the water cold and you can open and close with the flick of your thumb. It is also spill proof (as long as you close it firmly). Just makes a great product even better.

Love that I need not unscrew now to drink water

I wanted a bottle that could be used in sports and provide a cool drink. I have 2 swell bottle and they have lasted the distance. The option for a sport cap is great!

Does not fit any of my swell bottles. Missed the fine print that states it only fits Swell original bottles- should be advertised more clearly.
