Great swabsticks. I bought these to have following jaw surgery and for use during early days recovery as I could not brush my teeth. They’re a bit bulky & come in sealed packs of 3. They are strong tasting which was rather unpleasant, but they refreshed and kept my mouth & teeth relatively clean when I wasn’t able to brush. They’re quite bulky too, so may be an issue if you have limited mouth opening. When you first open, they’re really wet so the pack of 3s keep the moisture which is good. I was having to prop up the open pack to save spillage/ drying. I’m not sure how safe it is to leave a pack o P en, full of moisture, could be a haven for germs. Overall really pleased with the product & it’s helped me out post surgery. Would definitely use again.

These are great to keep mouth comfortable in someone who is no longer eating and drinking . Helps keep the mouth and lips moist and helps keep lips from drying out . Chose the lemon flavour as felt it would be slightly more refreshing , but also comes in blackcurrant flavour . Carers use use this frequently throughout the day . Good value and arrived very quickly when we needed .

I bought these to use for my husband who was very I’ll. they were easy to use and helped keep his mouth clean and moist. He wasn’t too keen on the flavour but his taste buds had got very sensitive. Would have been better in packets of 2.

Does what it says on the box

Sadly needed through illness, they were a necessary purchase. The product did everything it needed to & provided a means of easing thirst, if liquid couldn’t be taken.

Very fint taste of blackcurrent and not the same as the ones I got in hospital as these are not what I expected and not a nice taste either. I got them as I use a CPAC Machine every night but have tried everything due to my mouth and throat drying out as I sleep with my mouth open. I got these swabs to help throughout the night and not my cup of tea, they just did not do much for me sorry.

I have not used them for myself but my wife used them for her father while he was ill to keep him hydrated and moist lips. Very good quality. Definitely recommend.

As a nurse I wanted to be able to help my mum in law when she was at end of life. I was greatly saddened that the advice is now to use moistened gauze- as that seldom seems to assist the individual in mouth care. These glycerin swans have been used by hospitals for many years, as they provide moisture, comfort & freshness. You can actually clean an individual’s mouth properly with them. Plus, the sweetness of the glycerin seems to provide comfort for them. The lemon is an obvious benefit for freshness in the mouth. These were fantastic and enabled us to be able to deliver excellent care for her- throughout to the end
