Gardiners of Scotland Toffees, Traditional Assorted Scottish, 10.56 Ounce

I got these as well as some shortbread cookies for my father for his birthday. He is Scottish so he loved them. He turned 93 so it's difficult to figure out what to give him...especially since Father's Day is a couple weeks later. I started getting these a few years ago and now he looks forward to them. They never last long. They melt in your mouth and are not overly sweet.

These Assorted Scottish Toffees are delicious, smooth and creamy, and the tin they come in is beautifully decorated. These would make an excellent gift, or stocking stuffer!

The toffee's were a little tough - don't eat if you have a lot of dental fillings. But, they were delicious. The tin that they came in was also very nice and was almost as popular as the toffee itself. Great gift for a Scotland fan.

This is the first time I have had the variety tin of toffee and wow, is each toffee fantastic? Yes, fantastic. I usually buy the Traditional Scottish Toffee, but it was sold out. This tin has been a delicious treat for myself! Scottish toffee is unlike American toffee. Leave it in your mouth a few seconds and ENJOY the flavor.

Lovely tin and excellent mailing package but I don’t like the four different artificial flavors. I prefer the standard butter vanilla taste of the currently unavailable product in a similar tin.

Ok taken awhile for my review.... Got toffee as a gift for a friend who was in town ! Not sure what to get. Thought he might like something from Scotland since he and his wife took a trip there last spring. ( He's never given me any opinion of whether he like them) I did get some for me to try... I never had anything Scottish before. I just think it's interesting to have something imported! Well I love music in other languages.... why not try candy?? Now I 'm not sure if the toffee is supposed to be hard . Mine was soft but that may have been cause by summer heat. But it was cool with me Since I'd prefer soft! I liked them . My favorite flavor was Treacle ? Was not listed on the container . Though Kinda tasted like raisins to me.... What is it exactly? Interesting . Would get some more But I will try the other assortment first. The only thing is, the mint flavor transfers a bit onto the other flavors.... Not bad but noticable

The Toffees are creamy and delicious. With the lovely decorator tin, this makes a perfect hostess gift or house warming present.

I purchased for Scottish theme family reunion ; flavors are great and were a big hit at the reuion.. I only gave 4 stars because I personally prefer a more chewy toffee..
