Very nice model. Nice size to show greater detail compared to small scale.

Price and quality of tge product. It's historical significance.

The Catalina is one of my favorite planes and the model had a lot of detail for the price. Definitely has some weight to it and I wish the base was a little stronger and wider. Feels like it is barely holding up. But I really like it.

Could use a little more details but its a nice display piece.

Smaller than I expected but the sheer weight of it makes up for it. It’s heavy and that gives it a good quality feel.

The PBY looks good in my airplane collection. The detail and the size is well worth the price.

Overall I like the model. It's not flimsy, looks like the picture, and has some good detail. The plain padded envelope it arrived in was garbage. Luckily the plastic around the plane protected it even though the box was beaten up and torn. It was a gift so that's frustrating, but the plane survived because of the manufacturing packaging.

This is a diecast model Catalina aircraft and everything is ok except that the base for the stand for the model is missing from the box.

I've got to hand it to Daron. They provide us with very nice looking planes. This Catalina is well built and has some real weight to it. The color scheme reminds me of the PBY's from the 1975 World War II movie Midway. I have given this plane 5 stars because it is a solid, good quality model. However, the stand that comes with this plane is somewhat flimsy. That being said, I highly recommend this model. Enjoy.
