We received our original package of Truffle Hunter truffle oils as a gift some time ago, perhaps even before the pandemic. But while cleaning up the random gifts and oils in our kitchen, I checked to see if the Truffle Hunter oils from a while back were still good -- they were, so I started drizzling them on everything from steamed vegetables to pasta -- and went into panic mode when the last bottle was empty. I was SO happy to see that these oils are available online. They are not precisely cheap, of course, but they are very reasonably priced. And from my perspective, the oils are well worth the price in exchange for the taste boost they add to my favorite dishes. I love them!

Update. I was wrong. The English is delish and still fine. The black oil froze up solid. Was all very tasty but I got it wrong the other day. Cheers. The white and black truffle oil rocked. The English truffle oil was okay, until I possibly ruined it putting in the fridge. It solidified overnight and I couldn't bring myself to test it more. This was a user error, not a manufacturer issue. OK, I'm not a truffle connoisseur, but I believe this is just very nice olive oil with truffle flavoring and a little piece of real truffle in the bottle. Don't take that as a slam, this is GOOD. I mean like put some on your potatoes and they transform into Super-Potatoes. Put some in your soup and it becomes Holy-Soup. Put some on your hot dogs and they... well first off your wife calls you gross and says you are going to burn in heck for doing that. After the condemnation however you get to quietly eat delicious fancy hot dogs in the solitude of a lonely dining room. I still have most of the white and black truffle bottles in the fridge (i don't know why) and they are not solidifying so I'm assuming it's okay. Overall I believe this is a decent product and am happy I tried it.

I dont leave reviews unless a product is horrible or outstanding, and my reviews are always100% me and honest. With that said, I don’t know much about truffles and I’m not a professional chef…however, I am a self proclaimed foodie with a very delicate palate and am quite snobby when it comes to food. I read many reviews and decided to give this brand a try. I purchased the 3 bottle gift set with Black, white, and English truffle oils to try. Not knowing much of what to expect except what I’ve tasted on other foods, I immediately opened the English truffle oil, cut up an heirloom tomato, drizzled then added salt and pepper for an impromptu taste test…the English truffle oil blew my mind. It smelled delicious, buttery flavor and when it hit my tongue, my tastebuds did a happy dance and I did a happy shimmy. The flavor was nutty, buttery and added umami to just tomatoes! I can’t wait to try the other flavors and on other foods. So far it’s a 5-star rating for just the one oil alone, I will update review when I try the others. for now, I’m just excited to eat my veggies!

This makes a great gift for your fellow foodie. I like how you can try different types of truffle oil, and it seems like the real deal (it has a truffle shaving floating inside each bottle). I’m saying this because I read that truffle oil is in some-most cases synthentic. Use it sparingly because, as some have commented, a little goes a long way. I gotta say i do taste a “gasoline” note, but at least I can now decipher the truffle oil flavour when I dine at restaurants. If you want to chef-it-up in your home, this is a great gift to yourself, as well. It’s packaged with care, and it overall looks like a top-quality product.

black truffle to use as a dressing on a steak enhances the flavor, full bodied and great earthy flavor, the white and English truffle a littler milder but add a more subtle taste to the dishes of your choice. very fast delivery, thank you
