Flavorful
Cooked with coconut milk and fresh spinach (in the absence of taro leaves) tastes just like the Samoan dish Palusami.

Best on market
Best canned corn beef around. Grill up an onion then a can of this. Put on plate with rice and you have a great breakfast. Also good to make hash with, just add potatoes and any veg you like. Nice shredded meat, not like dog food as with other brands

Best tasting corned beef I know.
This corned beef is usually not available in your neighborhood chain grocery stores. I sometimes see it in Asian grocery stores but it is not regularly stocked. Amazon usually has a lower price on this product, that is why I buy it here. I believe it is imported from New Zealand.Pros:-Flavor is amazing, it is savory with lots of juices and not too salty. You would definitely appreciate the high quality meat used in this product.-Texture is awesome, you could see the strands of beef when consuming the product.Cons:Depending on your preference, it might be a little too fatty as it produces lots of oil while you're cooking it in the pan. In comparison to the usual corned beef locally available in the US, it is a bit oily and probably has more fat content.

Why does it have to be so good!!?!?
Once you eat this corned beef, then go back to Libby's or Hereford, you'll notice they have a weird smell. You can't quite place it, but intuitively you know it's off. I kept thinking "decayed processed mush" even though it wasnt a "decay" smell per se, but something wasn't right. With Palm, it smells like corned beef. Period. Not every single spoonful looks the same (like spam or other corned beef). Some are deeper in color, some less, some thick shredded parts and some fattier shreds. GOD this stuff is good. Ran out so bought Libby's to hold me over and it grossed me out. I also tried Ox and Palm and it was outrageously disgusting (calcified fat, black contamination from the metal can, chock full of tendons, see my review over there with pics).
