How do you take the glue off is there a nontoxic glue remover for toenails?

The easiest way I found was to cut them like you're cutting your regular toenails. After that they fall off or can be slightly pulled on to remove. I once had a stubborn one and just used nail polish remover on a cotton ball for a minute and it came off.
