FILTER MONSTER Replacement for Honeywell G Filter (HRF-G2) 2 Pack + Pre-Filter

Originally thought these were great. But noticed that the air purifier always had the red light on to replace filter. But figured that was because these filters aren’t the Honeywell brand. Been using for a couple of months, went to see if they needed to be replaced and besides some dust on the charcoal filter, they are clean. They aren’t sticky like the true Honeywell filters. So basically they’re useless. Never buying again.

These filters perfectly fit on my Honeywell True Hepa Air Purifier HPA030B. I will have to see if they capture as much dust and dirt as the original filters. Note that these filters come with the carbon pre-filter attached to the HEPA filters, while in the original they are separate. This could be problematic as you're supposed to replace the pre-filter every 3 months, but the HEPA only need replacing every 12 months. Having said that, with how expensive the original filters are, I wasn't replacing the filters as directed anyway. I may have to cut up some other carbon pre-filters to fit if this becomes problematic.

These work perfectly. The reviewer that said the red light is alway on probably didn’t realize you have to hold down the button on the machine to reset the red light when you install the new filter. These work exactly like you expect them to work. Good product !

I love these filters and the fact that the pre-filter is attached. My normal use on the filters is 6 months so I am curious how these will last with the pre-filter attached. You can't beat the price. I have seen the previous reviews about the filter light, and depending on your model, you either have to hold the filter reset for 30 seconds to actually reset it or use a pin to push the button to reset it, as just pushing the button doesn't actually reset it. From what I have seen of the filters do far, they are performing great. Time will tell how they endure.

Have purchased these filters 3 times for our Honeywell air purifier. The room the air purifier is in collects a lot of airborne dust and dirt. The filters are sturdy enough to vacuum weekly, will not fall apart. Charcoal on one side and opaque pleats on the other. I have to change them every 4 to 5 months. Recommend.

I blew some cigarette smoke in the front of The air purifier and saw smoke coming through the other side —not very good filters -It don’t filter out smoke.

A good replacement filter. Not quite as nice of filter element as OE. The outer perimeter of the filter is sturdy and the pull tabs are well secured. I found the charcoal pre-filter to be lacking in comparison to OE in both size and filtration mass. Overall for the value I would purchase again. In our household we solve the additional filtration issue with a resized dryer sheet.

Works and easy to install, but seems to cause the "change filter" light to come on. Possible that this filter has a tighter weave than original OEM filter. That was my reason for a three Star review.
