YAASSSS. Straight Up.
I am a woman so I pretty much have to wear it backwards. BUT it is comfortable and works backwards as well. I didnt have surgery or a broken sternum, I have true ribs (upper ribs) that like to pop out of my sternum. I 100% reccomend this instead of getting an ACE 6" elastic wrap. *One hundred percent*. Great for working out or extreme sports too. I ride motocross and am learning to snowboard. The memory foam front (back for me) is a definite perk for wrecks on ur back.

Great for frontal rib fractures
I wore this to a concert to remind me to hold still and keep my rib protected. It did the job for sure. I do get great relief when I’m wearing it even though i feel like a stuffed sausage. The pain relief is worth it. I pay a price when I don’t wear it, particularly when lifting. Only reason for 3 stars is. How annoying this thing is to put on/take off.

Fail - Bogus Sizing Chart
This product is a fairly well made failure, because of the chronic incorrect sizing chart. I needed it for early recovery after CABG surgery, and it was a complete fail. It does not fit. Nowhere close to a correct fit. My wife is a dress maker and knows how to take proper measurements. Mine were exactly in the middle of the size on the chart, but the fit was nowhere even close. As noted in all the previous reviews, buy at least one size larger than you measure on their table. This product is NOT suitable for a woman with breasts.

Excellent post surgery wear
I already had 2 open-heart surgeries and wish I had seen this product before. I got this while searching for something to protect my recently placed pacemaker which feels loose while I exercise. I wanted something that would make me feel it was protected but also kept the area in place. I actually raise it higher so that it covers the pacemaker and less ribcage so it looks more like a bra on me but it does a magnificent job for what I was looking for. It also allows me to drive without the discomfort of the car seat belt over the pacemaker. This product is wonderful. I just placed a 2nd order since I will require a 3rd open-heart and will use it for that purpose when the time comes.
