101 Dog Tricks, Kids Edition: Fun and Easy Activities, Games, and Crafts (Volume 5) (Dog Tricks and Training, 5)

Had some easy tricks to teach the dog that kids can do on their own. My daughter, 10, has already made several of the crafts in the book.

My 9 year old daughter is a dog enthusiast...this is her go-to book for teaching our 3 year old dog tricks! Easy for kids to follow and understand and helps them feel a part of dog training.

This book is much more than dog tricks! When I bought it I was in a hurry to find a gift for a child who wanted to be a 'dog trainer' when she grows up. This book had good reviews and won out. Once I received it I realized there was a lot more to it than tricks. Tons of arts and crafts projects that the kid can make for their pet and to use in the training of the pet. The instructions are very clear for both the crafts and the dog tricks. I would recommend this book for kids over eight. But, honestly with some help it would be great for kids of all ages.

Great book. It was recommended to me by a dog trainer. We had recently adopted a rescue dog and we're looking for ways to help her bond with my children but also establish my children as pack leaders to avoid inappropriate behaviors. My 6 yr old immediately took to this book. Very well illustrated. Several were easy to accomplish in a few minutes with only every day ojects (like paper cups). This let my son and our dog feel successful right off the bat. I feel like there is a good balance of easy tricks and progression to more challenging behaviors.

Our dog can now roll over, do the dishes, pick up the dry cleaning.

This book is awesome for not only children but for the whole family! Great pictures and wonderful explanations for doing tricks with your dog! Great for bonding with your dog as well. Anyone in the family can do it. Doing tricks can give children great manners, respect, and social skills for dogs and in return they get that right back from their dog! And children who love, respect, play with their dog will grow up to be kind and generous for all animals and humans in the world. Tricks can be so fun and go a long way in life! We just received our copy today and couldn't be happier! My 9 year old daughter loves it! She is excited about the crafts, and all the doggy toys/tools you can build. She has already starting working with our dogs and taught our old dog new tricks! She likes the pictures and says it is so easy to understand! We have really loved this author and I recommend her to anyone and everyone for the clarity of instructions coupled with photographs or illustrations in her books. I was impressed because I had a hard time working with our older dog and she already taught her the "paws up" trick!!

My daughter is studying to become a dog trainer & has the regular version of this book.My 5 yo grandson loves to get involved & this book helps to let him join in.Safety is paramount.Lots of pictures & facts.You may not do every activity based on likes or your dog or circumstances. But there is something here for everyone.

While I like the trick guides, and the crafts, there were more crafts than I wished for. Could have used more tricks. Still love the book.

Bought as a present for one of my dogs obsessed clients kids who i set a challenge in class to practice. She loved and and says ot has a really good breakdown of how to do the tricks and is clear. Also contains ideas of things you can make for your dog
