Hanging Balcony Railing Shelf Flower Pot Holder Metal Plant Stand

I had such a tough time finding a reasonably priced, sturdy shelf to hang from our balcony! I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, but also wanted something that could hold 3/4 pots and wasn’t hideous. This turned out to be a great option. Reasonably priced, arrived fast, super easy to assemble the hook/rack part. I’ve got 3 8” pots on there now with room for another, and seems stable. My balcony railing is not quite thick enough, so I just improvised to create spacers (wood blocks are good) to fill the gap and prevent it from tilting too much.

I’m giving this 5 stars since it definitely met my expectations. I’ve used it for over two weeks and haven’t had any difficulties with it. I have pretty heavy pots since they’re self watering so I was a little worried that the hanger wouldn’t hold. I had to put a yard stick in between my railing and the hanger just so it didn’t drop (see photo for black ruler). I also zip tied it to the hanger to the railing just in case. I plan on ordering another one.

Very disappointed. This product info misled customers. The 3.5 inches wide of hanger but can’t fit my 3.5 inches wide fence. I have to force it to my fence. Don’t look good at all. Unless your fence is narrower than 3.5 inches, like 3.25 inches, it may fit ok. And the holder tilt so my flower pots will all slide to the front. So regret to get this.

I had purchased this to use in my front entry oil because I already had the legs from another product and the top oval metal basket head rusted out. Because it has a basket weave shape on the inside, at the bottom, it makes it very easy to attach it to wood or metal in making a thin, small console in the entryway for Keys, small items, gloves, mail, Etc. It worked out perfect for what I needed it for!

These seem to be very well made. I have purchased two. I do think that they will have to be painted every year or so because there was some rust residue inside the bubble wrap used in the packaging at the corners. I found the same residue in both packages. I do like the detail scrollwork on them. Only time will tell if the finish will be a problem.

Received mine today. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It’s defini quality & the price was wonderful! Only issue I had was I couldn’t use the long screws to secure it. The length of my rails are too long. I’ll have to secure it with zip ties, just to be sure. I’d definitely recommend it!
