Milward 2519020 Weaving Loom: Extendable: Beech Wood, 40x40-61cm

Very sturdy frame. Bought this recently absolutely great, no issues at all. The warp went on to the frame with no issues and stayed on throughout my project. This was something I was concerned about due to other reviews but glad I bought as other frames seemed expensive for my first go at weaving. The fact you can change the height of the frame is brilliant. Looking forward to using it again.

The product is fine, seems sturdy. However, it came without outer packaging and as a beginner to weaving I was dismayed to see that the address label and another yellow batch label had overlapped in a haphazard manner over instructions number 3 and 5 out of 6 instructions and photos. I can't get the label off as it takes the printed later off. Not a happy customer

Haven’t used the loom yet as I’m waiting for a weave shuttle, but I’ve put it together which was very simple as there are instructions included that are easy to follow.Wood feels smooth and looks to be of good quality.Love the extendable aspect as you can use it for a variety of projects and it’s easy to adjust.Not sure about the legs though. A bit hard to get the loom stable and don’t know if the legs will be sturdy enough.Overall I’m happy with the purchase

This loom is sturdy and nicely finished. It extends to a good size and is easily big enough to weave a piece for a tote bag or similar. The rotating heddle bar is easy enough to use, but a bit fiddly between picks (rows) because some of the warp threads pop out when the heddle is rotated. This is a common problem with rotating heddle bars however, and not specific to this loom. Very good value for money - I would recommend this product.

This is the first wooden loom I've used and is a huge improvement on a home made cardboard one! It is light weight, but sturdy. My only niggle, is the legs come loose and the loom sides down every now and then. I could do the wing nuts up really tight but don't want to get them stuck. I don't think there is another way to attach them, but this won't stop me using it. 1st project nearly complete, already planning the next!

I graduated to this larger loom because my practice with the small and mini loom yielded some proud results. It is easy to use needless to say the spacing and therefore loops are bigger but I am still using the same yarn as with the mini looms so still looks good. I am 2 days into a weave which is looking good but i'm using my shuttle from the small loom as you don't get one with this.

It's well made and sturdy. The heddle bar is good, however, if you wish to work with yarns other than bulky it's not usable because you need more warp ends. Is a good product. If I could choose another it would have a larger capacity for more warp yarns as I'd like my weaving to look professional and I use double knit or less. Also for the money I really think that some accessories should be included.

This is an alright loom if you know what you're doing. Not suitable for beginners (me). The seperater can only be used for a wide warp (vertical thread) can not be used for double warping (for closer together tighter work with finer fibres) (can be done but can't use the seperator)This is ideal for chunky work rather than tightly details projects.The finish on the wood isn't the best.It's good that it's adjustable.
