Black Horse Grille brush Bumper Guard Modular Black Compatible with 2015-2024 Ford F-150-17FP32MA

This BlackHorse grille guard looks sharp on my 2020 F150. There are multiple mounting brackets for accessories. However, the installation was difficult as the instructions were lackluster. I had to get the help of some friends and even then it took about half a day to figure out brackets and such. Though the instructions were lacking, it fits well and is super sturdy. If the seller could include more user friendly instructions this would be a home run! This grille guard is a great value for what you pay for compared to others on the market. Performance wise, like I stated above it's pretty sturdy and does not shake over bumps.

This bumper guard looks AMAZING on our 2020 Ford F150!!!! We chose to take it to a shop to have it professionally installed, but the guys that put it on said it was an easy installation. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it and I love showing it off.

2020 F-150..instructions suck. After installing all brackets, had a 2" gap between lower mounting bracket and guard. Loosened the lower brackets from the frame, bolts up the guard, then retightened the brackets to the frame. This worked but one bolt hole was misaligned by 1/8". Had to use a drill to oblong the hole for it to fit. After about 8 hours, got it complete. Installed by myself.

Not an easy installation, but so worth it. I have had three incidents where someone hit the front of the truck and no damage to the truck and only cosmetic issues with the GrillGuard that buffed out. I will do this to all of my vehicles now.

I ordered grill guard because it said it would fit my 2023 F150. It came with instructions for 2015-2018. I had to request and wait for updated instructions. When the current instructions came, it was obvious I needed 5 new brackets for my 2023. Blackhorse Customer Support questioned why I didn’t receive the brackets with the grill. I was just done with the whole thing and returned it for a refund.

Instructions very hard to understand, but once I figured it out, it was very easy to install didn’t have to cut anything. Just remove the tow hooks. Very nice fit. Did have to pull the bumper to get to the top bolt for the top bracket but very easy to do.

Fits great, included instructions are useless, also came missing some of the needed washers. Not bad for the price.

The only complaint that I might have is that the installation instructions left some open spots when it came to the pictures. The pictures could have been taken from some better angles. I found that it was easier to remove the grille then install the brackets, especially the top ones. Also, there are plenty of good You-Tube videos that can help. Overall a great product.
