Under specific conditions, works extremely well
Used for early archery this September. Performed very well after sharpening the main cutting blades. Complete pass-through on a broadside 2 year old buck. Left a gapping entry and exit wound, providing a substantial blood trail that spaned 55 yards. Recovered the arrow and noted that everything was still in new condition which surprised me for a mechanical broadhead. Also noted that the bleeder blades did not deploy after attempting to modify the spring plate thingy that holds them in the stored position. Over the last few years using this broadhead, I've never witnessed them deploying. I will try something else to see if I can make an adjustment without risking them opening in flight. Looking at the condition, I did not re-sharpen the main blades and used it on the next hunt. Blessed to have a 5 year old buck give me a broadside shot, similar shot placement ribcage, same distance of 20-25 yards. The arrow did not pass through completely, albeit there was a small hole where it would have exited. Same results, beautiful bloddtrail, 60 yard recovery point. Sharpen, sharpen, sharpen. Using mechanical broadheads on a crossbow will give you awesome results if you have a younger medium game animal with good target positions.

Short tracking
Best blood trails I’ve ever had I’ve tried several different types

Good, but single use
Flew great, very accurate. Excellent penetration and wound channel.Loses a star for durability. You aren't likely using this twice. Larger blade bent out of shape after hitting a rib on a medium-small doe. Bright side is she only made it about 20 yards and left a blood trail a blind man could follow.I'd call it a good broadhead for the price. I've used other, more expensive broadheads that do the same thing, so not a big deal that it bent.

3 bucks never lost one yet when I switched to the doublecross
The good: Performance is great. Furthest I had to track was 70 yards. Mainly due to a bad hit on my part I hit on an angle and got the liver and stomach. I kicked it up but it had laid down after 45 yards and would have been there if I would have waited longer than an hour and a half. The accuracy is good. I use an older tenpoint crossbow approximately 15 year old bow. The broadheads fly true and seem to open up all blades upon impact. The bad: Trying to change out the blades after a kill is frustrating. The disk retention system is hard to align and get the micro screws in. This would be easier if the company would have the holes all the way thru the head. At this point once I use all the on hand replacement blades I'll just buy new instead of enduring frustration and attempting to clean all the nasty out in the small crevices.I would recommend this head due to the blood trails. It's painting the woods when you use this product. Most deer I hit with hos head go 40 yards and under. It's that effective.

Flys like a field point
Taken a lot of deer with it and very rarely have too track them. We'll worth the money.

Nice
Only one I use now.Accurate,Never lost a deer yet.Strong tip .had a bad shot and hit it in the back and broke the back bone in half.Another one went through ribs, heart and broke leg in half on the way out.Leave a heck of a blood trail.

They look deadly
They look like they are going to do the job. With a 3 inch cutting area they should make tracking easier and dispatch the animal much faster and more humanly.
