Great bulghur wheat and well priced
Great and well priced. Bought before and just ordered again. Love it! Great substitute for rice. Loads of health benefits (fibre, low calorie and nutrient rich). And in our opinion tastier than rice too. I add a stock cube into the water while cooking and makes it extra flavourful. Love it, thank you!

Good taste. Clean.
Same good taste as ones bought from big supermarkets. As clean too. The icing on the fake is that it is good value for money. If you haven't tried bulgur wheat before, give it a go. It is filling and if well seasoned, can be a meal on its own. I particularly like springs onions in it. In fact, all the vegetables I have tried with it go well so I guess it qualifies being called versatile? Will be buying again for sure.Update: chomped on a stone today. Disappointed. Taken off one star for that.

Pleasantly surprised, very tasty.
Ive never used or eaten bulgar wheat until a visit to the local Turkish restaurant and was pleasantly surprised as to how tasty this is. After further investigation and finding it is in fact low in fat, high in fibre and nutrient rich, I decided to buy a bag and try the DIY replica recipe I had in the restaurant. Well, out with the white rice and now replaced with cracked bulgar wheat. This grain is so tasty, filling and a real please to eat. I can definitely recommend.** The easy recipe I used for 2200g cracked bulgar wheat, cooked in chicken stock (I used the microwave for 10mins until grains were enlarged and soft)A punnit of plum tomatoes, halved2 large onions chopped100g frozen peasGarlic cloves to your tasteChopped parsley, dried works wellSalt and pepperSaute the above until soft and cooked, add the grains and serve with a sprinkle of cheese.

The Good Stuff
I bought a bag of this when I couldn't find bulgur in the supermarket, and have never gone back. Despite being cheaper, the grains are big and inviting, and the taste and mouthfeel are a huge step up. I was motivated to write a review when I moved house and found a bag of supermarket bulgur in the back of the cupboard - in date - and rediscovered how small and mediocre it is compared to the Aksoy. Thank goodness it was only a small bag and I can go back to the good stuff soon!
