Very comfortable
Was a little hesitant to take this backpacking as my buddy has the helinox zero chair which is half the weight. But where this chair is 1 lb heavier it’s 10 times better. It’s cheaper, it sits higher and most importantly, it has coasters on the feet to prevent it from slipping into the ground. My buddy had to find thin rock to prop the feet up because he would sink into the forest floor where as this chair worked perfectly. Would be ordering another one soon for my wife

Great chair! Kinda heavy for backpacking
I bought this chair based on recommendations from outdoor gear labs. It is touted as the most comfortable portable chair but said to be a little on the heavy side. I completely agree! The chair weighs right at 2 lbs., so it is just too heavy for any lengthy backpacking trip. It is very comfortable and super easy to set up. I have taken it on day hikes and been the envy of my hiking partners while they sat on the ground. The feet are fantastic and don't seem to sink into soft ground. I wish it weighed about a pound less, and I would take it on every excursion.

Best on the market in my opinion.
I absolutely love this chair. It is comfortable and lightweight. I have taken hiking and carried it around to various events. I generally just keep it in my Jeep for whenever the need may arise. Folds up small and is strong.I am 6 foot and weighed 280 lbs when I got it. through my uses of it, it has yet to show any wear. The height at which the char sits is perfect. My knees are bent to where I feel like I am squatting nor do I feel my legs pulled down like on a taller chair or stool. It is definitely worth the 2.5 lbs to carry on a hike. having a comfy chair to sit in at the end of the trail is fantastic.I went to several stores and tried just about all the main brands of this style of chair. Most were too short or felt flimsy. This was the right chair for the right price.

Comfortable, Portable
I need a backrest when I sit down and this chair provides a comfortable place to sit in places where there wouldn't otherwise be any. Carrying case easily attaches with a carabiner to other objects such as a backpack. Easy to setup and take down.

Nice feet for sand use
The "sand" feet on this chair work great. i used it on several deep, soft, dry sand on sandbars and it stayed on top just as claimed. Everyone else's chair sank in the sand. They all wanted to know more about my chair. Everything else about the chair is good too. A large person may need a more robust chair, but not me. I'm 175 lbs and 5'9" and it held up great for me. A "big ole boy" sat in it once, making me a little nervous, but it held him well too. He did sit down gently in it though.

While they do work a bit better than straight feet and do distribute the weight
I bought two of these chairs since they have the updated feet for sand. While they do work a bit better than straight feet and do distribute the weight, you still will dip and sink in deep sand. However on normal ground or typical camping dirt, these work good. I've carried it backpack camping and it sure beats the lighter folding chairs that you use your sleeping pad to sit on. This chair lets you sit off the ground at a comfortable height to tend your campfires, eat, and enjoy. It is a huge difference between sitting on the ground level and sitting higher off the ground with a nice lean back angle. The carry sack mesh material lets out dirt and sand so that's great. The carry handle loop is not sewn strong enough and it ripped from the sack easily. I hope they would have double/triple stitched it better or provide lashing loops so users can strap it to bicycle rear racks or to backpacks.

Chair is a little tippy on unlevel ground.
I like the bag it comes in and it's compact size but if the chair is on unlevel ground it wants to go over. It's a little loose to so you get quite a bit of side to side movement.

Great chair and customer service!
Very happy with my purchase! The chair is great for camping and backpacking. It is light, sturdy, comfortable and easy to pack and unpack. However, shortly after purchasing this chair, one of the upper arms of the frame snapped. I contacted customer service and they immediately sent me a new frame.

Worth extra cost compared to cheaper versions.
Very good quality, superior to cheaper versions because feet to not sink on soft soil. Also higher off the ground and more comfortable. If you are spending a lot of time in this around campfire you will not regret sending a bit extra.
