So Cute!
I love the movie! It has some great actors in it. Cute, funny, romantic, sad, everything without any questionable scenes that you hope no one walks in on. I have this not only on digital but DVD. So worth it!

It's romcom
It's honestly fun to watch and I love how it represents the reality of immigrants who grow in the USA when encountered with those who live in their "country of origin" or at least their ancestors origin, and the cultural shock that comes with all that package.

Great comedy relief well adapted from the book
Grabs your attention from the start to the end (?), draws you into the story and keeps you in stitches throughout. Played multiple times for the great acting, plot, and quotes.

The Imposition of Values
"Crazy Rich Asians" gives us wisdom and morsels of insight. The vibe of informality is vibrant, illuminated from the entanglement of high ideals. In the panacea of Singapore there are walkways with people in revelry, and electric glow lantern lights. The party goers are caricatured with noble bearing and princely beauty. Nick Young(Henry Golding) and Rachel Chu(Constance Wu) are in a large food court in opulent Singapore. It is In these immense glittery venues that the couple and their friends inhabit where childhood memories are rekindled. There once was a fight, with Nick as defender, but Nick wasn't good at punching someone else. There is a sweet opinion whispered to Rachel about the way Nick is resonating with positivity. This could only be a passion, and not just a cajoling flirt. This is a narrative account of a continuum of actions made by Rachel, and Nick, and we watch for embellishments and habits to define who these people are. Nick is the very prominent heir to a developer, and will control a vast enterprise over much of S.E. Asia. Rachel Chu is an independent, hardworking, and successful economics professor. As Rachel is Chinese-American, and Nick is a native of China, one of the qualities that's condensing and mood tickling is the dark world of political persuasions. In other narratives, the adventures of a casual life, of liesure, familiar to the rich or poor-to this recounting an addage is quoted at the beginning. This saying is a brilliant one, simple, and it is quoted as a prologue to beguiling events. Here, the miasma of high tier bling on refashioned container ships, and on the tops of building towers is billowing out in a geyser of red glow color blocks and then there's a stoppage; the flow is slowed by an ancient prohibitive knowledge. The things which are related through the personages of Chinese and Chinese-American personalities of wealth are a mild mid-afternoon displacement of ideas and values without the sting of offense or insult. In Jon M. Chu's drama, the decor of a thoughtful culture has the unspoken ideas-that whorl mistily in the shades of evening and early morning-as acceptance, patience, and tolerance. Itineraries and goals, and attitudes, are still earmarked. This is an awesome movie because we are taken into the lives of a culture, not just a racial, religious, and political one, but also into the lavish structure of the wealthy elite. Michelle Yeoh as Eleanor Young, Nick's mother, portrays a matriarch of some limited viewpoints, but also of unequalled experience. Peik Lin Goh, Rachel's friend, also very rich, is carefree and mellow, a font of comical cut and dry observations. Trouble brews in deep channels, so that we notice that we are not listening to Rachel or Nick. Eerily, the destinations of Nick and his family are so outside the mainstream, that one is thinking that such realms could cause one to be gluttonous, to be spoilt. I wish that, some of Rachel's freedom of spirit and vested self interest would enlighten some doctrines of Eleanor Young(Nick's mother). In rotation, I wish that some of Nick's and his family's nurtured traditions would intercept those who would throw wedding bonanzas to no purpose at all.

love
It is important to know that love does exist. I have yet to find it, I do think it is a myth, maybe. I just adore this movie, I have seen it so many times now, I have lost count. does not matter, I will watch it a thousand times again. Just sit back, relax, and take notes on the wedding, I mean how beautiful is that ceremony???? ENJOY!! Oh, and Remy Hii, who plays Alistair Cheng in this movie, he is just gorgeous! So crushing on him !

Funny and Enjoyable
While I didn't see it in theaters when it originally came out, I have enjoyed watching on several occasions. It has kind of become a comfort film of sorts for me.

Einer der besten Unterhaltungsfilme der letzten Jahre. Eine tolle Besetzung und nur mit asiatischen Darstellern aus aller Welt, ein Kunstgriff!!! Für mich einer der Filmhighlights der letzten Jahre
