This book has been a lifesaver to me. I'm a transgender female. Lots of landlords like to play games with transgender tenants as one could probably imagine. I even had a landlord rent to me once just so he could play games with me and try to evict me for anything he could come up with or make up. Even though I could afford the place he felt like I didn't deserve a home because I'm transgender. Thank God I had read this book already because it prepared me with what I needed to know to take legal actions against him and absolutely stop him from trampling my rights, ruining my recorded with a fraudulent malicious eviction, and cruelly putting me out. This book will give you a clear understanding of your rights as a tenant and how to make sure they are respected, assuming you always pay your rent. You must always pay your rent. Even if you are going to be late pay your rent, if your landlord will take it late. If you do not pay your rent nothing will help you not even this book.

This book gives you the knowledge to know some of your rights and it is crucial when your a renter. I also feel this book was an older addition it was not different at all from the newer addition. I purchased many products from amazon, the book arrived quickly and was in pristine condition. Apply the rules from the book, you'll be happy and won't regret it.

Very detailed book which can be used as a primary go to source whenever one is in need of knowledge about their standings as a tenant. I purchased this book for a family member that was renting and having problems with their rental company not fixing things in a timely fashion. This book was enough to give them the confidence they needed to address the problem with factual legalities instead of suppositions.

Used it like gavel ! Don't even waste the phone call before consulting this book .....

Pretty good and would recommend, but could be more local and site actual cases. I did learn a lot from it and it definitely helped in preparation to speak with a lawyer about our situation.
