Mini Converter UpDownCross HD (BM-CONVMUDCSTD/HD)

This solved my video production camera compatibility issues for me. Though the configurations on the converter might be old, the installer has a more accurate instruction manual in pdf that has the various combinations for the desired output. If you are into video production, this will save your life and time. This is my second purchase.

I need this chiefly because BMD vision mixers tend to require every input to be the same resolution and frame rate. Unhelpful vision mixers! Having said that, this will help with one camera input, or one PC input. We have all cameras set to 1080i at 50 fps ("1080 i 50") but recently purchased two cameras at 1080 i 59.94 along with a cheap BMD mixer. Their Mini mixer outputs at 1080 p 50 and will need conversion to augment inputs to the main mixer. So the UpDownCross is useful. Our PC hasn't got a 1080 i 50 setting available (cheaper graphics card) and as graphics cards are so expensive just now, this might provide an alternative way forwards.

I had a day to prepare for a presentation live stream with a camera I knew wouldn't work with my BMD switcher in 1080P30. This came overnight and I configured it on the job. It worked immediately after the first attempt at setting the dip switches. It's a little confusing when you look at it at first, but once you figure it out, it's plain as day simple. Set the dipswitches upside down, from right to left while looking at the chart. Now I had also ordered a decimator md-hx but it did not arrive in time. I am happy it turned out this way. This little BMD is half the cost and does the trick. Sure, it doesn't have an LCD display, it doesn't have an app to configure it, and some advanced scaling options that the decimater has, but it works for most applications and the setup is indeed fast. It auto detects your input from any format down to 640x480 and up to 1080p60 and outputs to any format from 720 and up to 1080p60. Very useful when incompatible video devices get connected to a switcher.

Perfecto, la marca es garantía de buen producto y así lo he comprobado muchas veces. En este caso necesitaba convertir una señal de HD 1080p a 1080i y con este descalador/escalador se hace de una manera muy sencilla.

Produkt nie jest nowy. Zapewne pochodzi ze zwrotu konsumenckiego, co widać po druciku od zasilacza, który był już odkręcany i po brzydko rozerwanym woreczku. To nie jest nowy towar!! Nie będę się czepiał ustawień, bo nie wiem, czy nowy nie powinien mieć wszystkiego na off...ale to też daje do myślenia.
