Both of these events occurred while the product was not in use on low 90 degree days outside of Philadelphia. I got the product 6 months ago. First the plastic on the nozzle split where it tapers up from the bottom to the business end. I had not touched the hose that day just noticed water spraying all over the yard from my kitchen window. I didn't think much of it and thought it was maybe a 3rd party nozzle and didn't really mind replacing that part only because I liked the hose so much. Today the hose split on its own and I found water leaking all over. I used the hose this morning (with a new nozzle that arrived a couple days ago) to water some flowers and everything was fine. About 10 hours later I was taking the garbage out and heard a hissing sound and found the middle of the hose was leaking water everywhere. I do not know how this product has such good ratings when both my nozzle AND hose have now split open on their own. QA can't be the same on both of them.TL;DR Avoid this product. It will fail due to average summer temperatures and leak. I bought it only 6 months ago and both the nozzle and hose have split (not in use/ being moved around or abused) while sitting on the ground. I estimate I've only used this hose 50 times since I got it.

I had high hopes for this hose. It’s the first light weight hose we’ve had. The outside covering on the hose is very durable. I was disappointed that the tiny attachment that’s supposed to hold the nozzle in the on position doesn’t work so you have to squeeze it continually to get it to spray. The hose doesn’t kink but it does twist a lot which is a nuisance. The biggest drawback with this hose though is the weak water pressure. On a really hot day all that came out was a very weak spray. I had to keep squeezing the nozzle repeatedly to get even that. At one point, it was just a trickle. At its best, even the jet spray is weak. Our regular old and heavy hose works fine. It’s just heavy. Wanting better from this hose. It’s being returned.

This was fab while it lasted. Got it early June 2019, used all summer/fall in N IL weather. Drained and stored inside as per instructions. Hooked it up a couple days ago (mind you, with only about 4 months of actual use and stored as instructed). Nozzle squirted out in Several locations where it shouldn’t, and there were 2 leaks in the actual hose. SOOOOOOO INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED. I loved this hose last summer - perfect for watering plants and containers nearby. But it’s useless if it doesn’t last even the tragic 6 months it’s guaranteed. Do not recommend.

I just tried my new hose. Wow is it ever a great quality! The nozzle is very good quality also. No leaks, no kinking, lots of pressure and more settings on the nozzle than anyone could want! It is so light weight when not in use and it drains completely when it contracts. I went to Lowes and they had nothing like this. Either in quality or price. This hose is not only very light and flexible, it expands in length under pressure and contracts when emptied. Fitting supplied with it are very well made and do not leak. I'm at an advanced age, and lugging around a heavy rubber hose is a problem. This hose disposes of all the concern and delivers water to the right place, in the right way, with very little effort.

I've been using it for about a month. I laid down sod, planted grass seed, sprayed landscape insecticides and washed cars. The outer fabric has developed "pulls" from being dragged over "rough" surfaces e.g. landscape stones, brick paver sidewalks, etc. I would have expected greater durability, something along the lines of ballistic nylon.I don't see how it's lifespan would be much greater that a year or two (I could be wrong). My previous rubber hose with all its inconvenience lasted over 7 years (I live in Florida and I had to store that hose outdoors in the elements) and cost quite a bit less than this hose.

I bought this hose for our RV. Must be light and compact and able to stretch up to 50 feet for those hard to reach water hydrants. It fits the bill. Highly recommend it. I do not know about durability but so far, so good.

This hose is amazing!! Bought it to water my flowers in my back yard. I can’t believe how light weight it is, but yet very well made. It works perfectly for watering my flowers and hosing off patio and furniture! The sprayer is awesome and has so many settings!! It wrapped back up quickly and compact. Did not twist up once and stretched out as far as my old 50 ft hose that twisted up and cut off the water all the time! I will probably buy another one for my front yard!!
