Bought this light/fan to replace the original unit when doing a bathroom makeover. This unit is a VAST improvement in appearance and sound over the original! For the most part, installation was easy. I say "for the most part" because the hole in the ceiling used by the original unit was about 1" longer than the area which would be covered by the base of this new unit. I had to resort to adding a strip of drywall in that area so that the gap would be eliminated. Just an FYI for those looking to replace a light/fan unit: be aware of the ceiling hole size before buying a replacement, or else you'll need to figure out a solution to eliminate the gap.

I have two of them in my new rest room. You can hear them run a little bit. If they both are on, you can’t hear them when your washing your hands in the sink. I have a Smoke bomb from off of here. I lit it and it took the smoke from the floor over six to seven feet and straight up to one fan. Shut that fan off and the second fan move the smoke from the floor 12’ foot over and straight up to the fan. You could not smell anything from that smoke. These Fans are Really doing There Job of CFM my Rest room is 12’ Wide & 16’ Long . I piped them to the soffit with 4” I-D pipe and ran it down hill so if any moisture gets into it will run down and drip outside thru my vented soffit. Last longer than my life time and maybe even the next one that takes over here.

I like that it was easy to install. Dislike that no one from the company has contacted me about buying extra parts. I have several house that these are installed in and would like to have extra blower motors.....Have you ever tried to find a motor for one of these thing it not easy. I only have one extra one of the whole light kit and blowers. Need more blowers.

So do not be deceived by the pictures, the assembly is off center from the mounting enclosure. This made it extremely difficult to retrofit to my access hole that was already cut. I had to use a 1/2" plywood to space it over to be centered and it still does not cover the hole completely. (even though the hole is the right size) So I have to remove again and do some slight Sheetrock repair then re-install.The fan is VERY quiet, but does not appear to be working well. 80CFM should pull the humidity from the room, but has a hard time keeping up for some reason. The old 20 year old Nutone pulled all the humidity out, so don't know why this is so poor in removing moisture. It is nice for now, but I would not purchase another at this price.

This is my 3rd purchase as the Hunter light/ventilation fan. The fixture performs perfectly, looks great, is quiet and provides plenty of light for my baths. The nickel finish is very durable without any blemish for 3 years after installation. Shower steam is removed so well the bath mirror never fog.

Great product, did not have to add second switch with this light/ fan combo. Great quality and very quite when running.I would recommend .

Good quality, looks like a light and not a fan. Seemed like it was going to be tedious to install when removing from the box but it wasn’t too bad. Fan is quietish. For the price it was solid.
