King Charles Modern Farmhouse Floral Matelasse Coverlet, 100% Cotton Breathable Bedding, Full/Queen, White

This was EXACTLY what I wanted for my king-sized bed: a bedspread, NOT a coverlet, heavy enough but not TOO heavy, beautiful jacquard weave matelasse with a simple yet elegant pattern. I washed it before putting it in my bed and it took three cycles to dry, and it did shrink a bit, but I’m unconcerned; I’ve had a bedspread like this before, and it stretches from its dryer shrinkage after a few days. It’s a perfectly adequate size after shrinkage side-to-side (that’s where I expect a little stretching) and more that adequate top-to-bottom - plenty of room to tuck under pillows. I’m honestly delighted. The color is ivory and maybe a shade darker than I hoped, but similar to picture. I’m pleased with the price as well.

This comforter is so soft so beautiful and such a deal! I purchased the King size and it fits my frame perfectly! The weight is not too heavy, not to light, just right for the Florida weather. I also purchased matching shams. It's a beautiful set!

My elderly mother loves with spread. She wanted something light weight for summer as her normal bedspread is quilted and heavier. It looks really nice and the blue color is subtle and pretty with the cream, taupe, soft rusty orange and blue in her drapes and bedskirt. It's soft, fits well on her full bed and is great for warmer months. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a very high quality product. I ordered a queen since the measurements seemed perfect for what I wanted. It is still a little large. Also, the pattern is not as obvious as I expected after reviewing the pictures. Overall very nice but not what you would expect from the pictures. Keeping it but still need a quilt.

We received the bed spread today. The bed spread an shams were just what we wanted. They fit our bed perfectly and look great.

It's very heavy when dry and really heavy when wet; takes forever to dry and it wrinkles badly; have to get it out of dryer immediately, which helps a bit. The nice design only goes around the sides so the top of the bed is just a plain diamond pattern, didn't notice that in the photos. It was a boring beige color instead of ivory, but washing it with a little bleach fixed that problem. I bought a king for a queen bed, and at first it was hanging on the floor ++, since September it has been washed weekly and has shrunk 6-8" all around and now is perfect for my queen bed, is about 3-4" off the floor. I've had many matelasse coverlets from Portugal and never had any of these issues, this one is from India, and should have been fine. I waited a long time deciding on buying this and am sorry I'm not well pleased. A plus is it doesn't snag from cat nails!!
