Great patches when used with a jag
These small patches are great if you are using a jag. The brass or nickel jags work best, as the fit is very snug. I've cut the 1 inch patches in half for .22 bores, so these provide a welcome change to that routine. If you are using them with the slotted attachment or with larger calibers, they might be a bit small.As far as the material, I'm seeing very few threads and no lint flying off. No tearing - they are quite strong enough.

Works with 9mm as well
These gun patches work well with a 9mm. Purchased an M&P Shield recently and bought these to clean up the gun. They catch the oils very well and don't leave residue behind. However, I do have to say that, if you use much force at all, the threads will start to come out. So, be sure not to use the pads for too long. Otherwise, the threads may get left behind in the barrel or in other parts of your gun. Other than that, this product works well and comes in just the right quantity.

My Bad
They put the size right there up front and somehow I was surprised that they were smaller than I'd like. 3/4" is probably good for .17 or .177, but .22 or .223, not so muchThe patches are exactly as advertised and the price is right. To me they're useless, nevertheless I gotta give 'em 5 stars.

Yes, when a rifle is properly cleaned one can go through as many as a dozen patches. 100 is not enough that is enough for about 8 to 9 cleanings. I will need to order more soon just as soon as it cools off this fall where I can resume bench-rest shooting comfortably again.
