LV International Trade,Adult Satin Kimono Robe - Black Multi-Colored, One Size

Ordered the "Adult - Satin Kimono Robe - Black" and the "Geisha Asian Lady Wig" two days before Halloween. Paid premium shipping (my fault bc I ordered so late in the season), and the robe and wig arrived the very next day. Without premium shipping the total on this order for robe and wig = $65. This is about $15 more than the tacky/cheap costume in a bag type items that you find in all of the Halloween superstores. BUT, the quality difference is HUGE! The kimono robe is a beautiful satin robe with a gorgeous high-contrast, colorful print. My mother lived in Japan as a child and I lived in San Francisco (Japantown area) for 7 years and we both remarked on how authentic-looking and elegant this robe is. I purchased the black and white one and at 5'7"/130 lbs it fit absolutely perfectly (hit just above the ankles). It is wrap style so it could easily accommodate a smaller or larger person. I wore black tights and a tank top underneath - and it complemented perfectly. BONUS: what you don't see in the picture is the detachable sash (OBI, in japanese). This comes with the pre-formed Koshi-himo square that sits at the back for a truly authentic-looking geisha costume. I added dramatic kabuki make-up and had multiple comments throughout the night complimenting my Madame Butterfly!I purchased the "Geisha Asian Lady Wig" with this - which fit very well on me. My head is on the smaller side, and I would say that the wig is better for S/M frame rather than large, but I could easily tuck my long hear under the nape of my neck. The hair quality on the wig is obviously synthetic, but it holds it's shape nicely and comes with pin/comb attachments for added character. I packed and unpacked the wig several times and it always popped back in to shape nicely. My husband and I wore the costumes in the car, sitting and standing at a house party, and walking up and down crowded streets. Very comfortable and easy to move around in. So, bottom line - our "Shinto Warrior - Princess" costumes won best-in-show this year!

It is very pretty BUT the stitches are already coming out. I hope this doesn’t ruin soon.

A perfect fit for me and that means not one size fit all because I am small and Japanese that doesn't mean I am small Japanese woman, I meant I am small even if I am in Japan. And this is not a real kimono it is a perfectly fake costume but designs and colores are pretty good, well,the arms are very short even for me and very odd size plus oh, my, expensive? Well, these days, all the costumes are expensive so never mind. Use for the costume and that's what it is. Oh, don't forget this is satin kimono and strings comes out easily.

This is very nicely colored, the only negative thing I would say is how short it is. I read a review and someone said that they're 5'7" and it goes to the top of her feet, mine is about 3" shorter and I'm 5'6"". I have done more research and kI mono robes ate supposed to be longer and rocked under your obi to accommodate the appropriate length. And it is polyester, not satin. It had quite a few threads hanging of I had to cut off. But i gave 3 stats for price, color and came on time.

It's a beautiful robe. The belt is not terrible, but not great, either. I will need to add more velcro to male it fit snug to stay on properly. I am between a size 6 to 8.

Love swinging around in this. I threw away the sash and the stupid little satin square, so I can't testify as to its authenticity, but I love flouncing around in this…it's lined with cotton so it's very comfortable, lighter than fleece but heavier than satin, and I keep stuff in the sleeves. For the price, a great little robe.
