First of all, know that this thing is a beast. It's built like a tank and weighs like one too. It's not easy for me to move around on my own, so I built a cart with big 10" wheels to roll it around. I just finished my first weekend using this generator for 4 days straight. Here's my observations: It's really quiet. I had several people asking me where I bought it and details about it's capability. There was a honda running closeby and both sounded about the same in terms of noise. There was another trailer setup about 75 feet away with a jobsite type generator - the noise coming from that thing drowned out mine where I had to check several times to ensure it was still running. It's powerful. It had more than enough power for my 9K btu Air Conditioner and anything else I ran off it (fans, coffee maker, battery charger, etc.) It was actually the keurig (1500 watts) in combination with the AC which drew the most power. It's economical. This thing ran for 20 hours before running out of gas. I had it in eco mode and didn't expect that kind of time on 2.5 gallons of gas. I used 89 octane, no ethanol fuel. The temps were warm in the day (85-ish and sunny) and cool at night (60-ish), so the AC was not using max wattage all the time. I am absolutely happy with my purchase and recommend this generator highly.

Came with a bad starter battery out of the box, so I contacted Amazon and was given a partial refund. Bought a $25 replacement battery and now it works like a champ. Instructions are clear and setup was easy. Runs ridiculously quiet, especially in eco mode. Outputs 3000w as advertised without breaking a sweat. Only complaint I have is that it doesn't run on propane, but I knew that ahead of time. It also doesn't have wheels, so it has to be picked up and moved, or you can buy a furniture dolly from harbor freight for like $13 if you want to roll it around on smooth surfaces. Overall, it's built well, does what it's supposed to do, and isn't insanely heavy. Definitely recommend.

Using this for piwer in our RV while we build, and it is amazing. We have pretty light consumption, using propane for heat and hot water, so this runs the fridge, a dehumidifier, a TV, and a couple of lights while keeping the battery topped off. I get about 13 hours between fill ups, and it is QUIET! Oil changes are a pain - recommend getting a piece of tubing to put over the fill port and through the port on the side of the casing for mess free draining. 2 year update. This ran for 11,300 continous trouble free hours before it finally started to die. Pretty sure it is rated for 3000 hours with intermittent use. As time went on the electric start switch started to get intermittent contact, and the spark arrestor got so clogged I think the back pressure killed it (note to self, clean that every now and then). Overall could not have been happier. Replaced it with a second of the same model. For the money no one touches it.

Where do I start. The 3500 is brilliant. It's the quietest inverter I've ever owned and I've owed 5 of the industries best over the years. It's performance is legendary. Its literally impossible to hear it inside your home if ever used for power outages. Stop quiet I've had to chain mines down in feast that someone would rip me off letting is run over night. The only way I'd no if it had been disconnected is if I stayed up all night watching something is powering. That's just how quiet it is. Startup is seems. I've owned several honday inverters. Yamaha inverters and also the Ryobi inverter which I loved. The 3500 wins in features, quietness & consumption. Where I'd does not hail add champion is in the mobility department. This thing fully gassed is at least 200lbs and dang near impossible to move along. Why in Gods name generator didn't add wheels or at least sell a wheel kit is besides me. Maybe is the CEO & CFO Had to use one for a week that would change. If mobility can be concured which most of us will find a solution then dont wait. Make that move.

GOOD NEWS— the unit is very well packed and has all the accessories you need including a special oil funnel and spark plug wrench. The unit is in fact, very quiet and started easily. The layout on the dashboard is great and seems to be a first class product, which is what I expected. BAD NEWS- well, it started very easily by pulling on the rope. The electric start did not work. I read the manual twice and couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I opened the battery door and pulled the battery out and guess what…the battery was not connected. They have very detailed instructions, including on how to take the generator out of the box but mentioned nowhere to hook up the battery! 6-1-23 please look at the attached photograph of the oil leak on my floor after owning the generator for one week. It probably has run for five minutes now I get to try and contact your horrible customer service and ask her replacement unit. Doesn’t work with Generac TRANSER SWITCH. THE SWITCH REQUIRES 240 volts. This not mention in any of their literature per their tech support. Soooo i need to buy a bigger generator. Can’t return this one because i put gas in the tank. .

I give the Generac 7127 iQ3500-3500 Watt Portable Inverter Generator a 4 out of 5 star rating. After using this through all 4 seasons around the home and out camping, I can say that this Wisconsin assembled generator performs well, is the most quite generator I've ever owned, and it's lighter than the other two generators we have in our fleet. The Pros: Great power, strong runner. I've used this thing in zero temps running a 7,000 Watt electric heater all night long. Easy controls, though it doesn't have an LED fuel indicator like some of the other models. Easy enough for me to toss in the back of the Jeep or trailer. At about 100 pounds it's lighter than my Honda 3000i was. Electric start and pull starts easily. I killed the electric start battery using this over winter, but it pulls so easily I never replaced it. Affordable, half the cost of some of the other generators in this market. It's whisper quiet. Dead serious, this thing is the most silent generator I've ever used. Eco mode works really well to adjust to a load. Cons: It's not as refined as the Honda or Yamaha generators. It's more fussy about being level while running. It's large (but all the 3000 series generators in this market are about the same size) Overall, this is a nice unit. It's affordable, easy to use, locally made, and easy to get support and parts for. I'll do a review video when I have the chance and compare it to the Yamaha side by side.

Was extremely simple to assemble and after putting it together and adding oil (provided) and gas it started first time with my electric starter. What's so unbelievable is it's so quiet for a generator of this size. The only thing I wish is it would come on a wheel frame as it is extremely heave for me. I purchased a garden wagon with collapsible sides and it fits perfectly so I can wheel it wherever I want... extremely pleased so would buy again! Oh...it runs my fridge... freezer and my lights all together...great generator

The Generac iQ3500 is a nice, quiet running machine. Took several decibel readings in both full power mode and economy mode. Those readings ranged from lows of 64-65ish at the front of the unit out to about 3ft away. Loudest reading was at the back of the unit in full power mode with an 83.4dB. Stood inside my camper which was around ten feet away and got a reading of 44dB. With the air conditioner running in the camper, the air conditioner was louder than the generator. Very happy, would recommend. One note to new owners, I couldn't find the oil capacity anywhere in the owners manual. Unit comes with one quart of 30W oil. It does not take the entire quart, ended up taking about 7/8. Gas tank holds 2 1/2 gal. Update after first use: This thing is great! Ran it all weekend nonstop, over 40 hours straight on 10gal. of gas. Does not like to be moved, even a little, while it is running. Love this generator!

Have only done a max amp pull to see how quiet this unit is. this unit overall seems to work well and is quiet that’s all I was after.
