It's a great laptop sleeve
It's a great laptop sleeve! I love it !The outer layer is hard enough to protect my computer from incident shock and the inner layer is really fluffy !!Highly recommended!

I really wanted to like this but it simply doesn't fit a Lenovo Yoga 920
I was excited to receive this sleeve for my Lenovo Yoga 920, until I actually received it. The design is VERY eye-catching and minimalist, which is very nice. The sleeve seems to be very well constructed. The fabric was soft to touch and the sleeve itself was very stiff, but not TOO stiff. However, it did not fit my laptop whatsoever, despite being made for 14-inch laptops -- the Yoga 920 has a 13.9" screen. I'm convinced this sleeve would actually fit a 15-inch laptop that happens to be about 3 inches thick! The sleeve was MUCH longer than my laptop, which means it can bounce up and down inside the sleeve, which leads to the next problem. The specific design of this sleeve is such that the stiffness of the sides gives the interior about an inch or so of clearance, that's great if you have a 14-inch laptop from the early 2000s (since they were much thicker) rather than the ultra razor-thin laptops out today. My Yoga 920 was completely LOOSE and flopped about inside the sleeve, so much so that I used the foam insert that CAME INSIDE THE SLEEVE from Lymmax as a way to secure my laptop inside the sleeve itself. That's a very unelegant solution to a problem the sleeve itself was supposed to solve. FWIW, I did inform Lymmax of this problem directly, for any potential design revisions in the future. The other problem I had with this sleeve was that the overall size of the sleeve itself is large enough to not (easily) fit inside the laptop sleeve in my REI Trail 25 backpack. It fit however, it did stretch the backpack's sleeve to its absolute max, which made it difficult to insert/remove (which is good for securing the laptop) but the downside is that it was not very easy to remove and made the backpack's laptop sleeve ultimately useless to even use (and it stretched out the elastic closure). I also informed Lymmax of this.I really wanted to use this sleeve, I really like the design and colorway, but I'm not going to put my glass-backed laptop into a sleeve that lets it bounce around like loose change.

(Almost) perfect for Pixelbook
Given that the Google Pixelbook is a little more fragile than I would like due to the stylish but breakable glass on the outside of the case, I wanted a sleeve that offered more protection than a typical cloth/canvas/leather sleeve. This sleeve is exactly what I was looking for: offers good protection without being super bulky, looks cool, and isn't crazy expensive. One caveat for using with a Pixelbook - the space inside the case is about an inch longer than the Pixelbook, so the laptop will slide around in the case. I solved this problem by cutting some of the included styrofoam that came in the case down to about a one inch strip and just placing it at the bottom of the case (see pictures). This stops the laptop from moving around, and you'll basically never see the styrofoam once placed in the sleeve since it sits at the bottom end. I also throw a stylus pen down in the bottom with the styrofoam, which keeps the laptop from sitting on the pen and potentially damaging the pen or scratching the laptop (no pocket on the sleeve, so this was the only good solution I could come up with for the pen). The only thing I dislike about the sleeve is that the flap uses velcro to close; it's not super loud, but still annoying. A magnetic closure on the flap would have made this sleeve just perfect, and I'm considering trying to install one myself at some point. Overall this is a great sleeve if you have a Pixelbook or similarly sized laptop, especially for the protection and price.

Laptops with protruding feet will have problems...
The sleeve seems to be made of decent material, and is of good overall quality. There is, however, what I consider to be a serious design problem. There is a ridge at the opening of the sleeve which is quite stiff, and interferes with removing a laptop. The ridge is actually all around. Each side of the sleeve is a kind of stiff molded "cafeteria tray" shape, joined around three edges by seams. By itself, this is quite nice, and feels like it would add a good measure of extra protection over a floppy cloth or neoprene sleeve. The problem is that the ridge, where the opposing "tray" shapes meet, is across the opening, not just around the other three edges. When pulling my laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon, 3rd Gen) out of the sleeve the feet, which protrude around 1-1.5mm, catch on the ridge and make it difficult to actually remove the laptop. The promise of this type of sleeve for me was that I'd be able to remove the laptop from it without removing the sleeve from my backpack. Technically, I can do this, but it is far harder to do than anticipated. The effort involved in removing my laptop ruins the sleeve for me.

Failed to protect my screen (very disappointed)
I carried the case in my backpack with some other notebooks and textbooks. But one day it failed to protect my laptop screen. I assume it got cracked due to the excessive pressure from the stuff in my backpack, but I was very disappointed how easily it failed to protect my screen.First of all, although I really liked the design at first, I was disappointed how thin the case was. I was expecting more think, soft material covering the laptop inside, but it was completely thin, hard material all the way inside and outside. (well, it does have a little bit of fluffy fur-like material inside, but it does no protection for a laptop). It looks thick and sturdy at a glance (probably because of the design), but the case itself is very thin and light. It has good resistance against pressure from the corners, but not against straight pressure from the front and back. That's how my laptop got cracked. It was sandwiched by my textbook and my back.I really like the design, but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew the case was this thin and had no soft material inside.
