These are by far my son's favorite socks, even his preferred ones in the summer despite being slightly thicker than typical socks. They are cozy and warm, and the car design is cute. They hold up well - there are zero holes after a year of 4-5 year old boy wear (which we all know involves a lot of running, sliding, tumbling, dirt, and mud). We have had a set for a year and just ordered another - only because socks keep getting misplaced around here, not because they need to be replaced due to quality. I will say I don't take great care to hand wash or separate socks to delicate/cold wash (who has time for that?), and after a year of machine washing, they've shrunk slightly. The photo shows the new sock (one wash) on the left, and the year-old sock (many washes) on the right. They eventually got somewhat pilly as well, but not incredibly noticable, and not uncomfortable for wearing. My son never noticed. I love that the colors are neutral enough to go with anything, but fun enough to catch a child's interest without being over the top. Overall, great socks!

The fabric feels so soft, thick, and warm. The shark patterns are fun and attractive for casual or dressy wear. My son wears toddler size 10 or 11 shoes, and the socks fit him very well - not too tight or too large. These will be great for him to wear all winter in our freezing cold temperatures. Just washing for the first time, will update my review if there are any issues. So far we love them!

My daughter is just growing into a size 13 but based on reviews I ordered the size 8-13 years. I’m glad I did. After washing in cold and drying on low heat they shrank quite a bit (as wool should) and now fit her perfectly. So unless you want to hand wash and hang dry kids socks, I recommend sizing up. The socks themselves are very warm and thick, and most importantly she loves them.

I bought these socks for me because women’s socks are always too big, these are so soft and stretchy, very warm without being too bulky. Bought the 8-12 and they fit perfectly. I wear a size 7 shoe.
